The Modern Mill Apartment

A bit of a struggle with locks.

Very spacious and tidy apartment. We were only there for one night but it would have been great for a longer stay.

It was a beautiful modern interior in an old historic looking building. It had all the amenities I could think of. It was in a quiet neighborhood which was nice to escape from the hectic tourist zone. But you’re definitely close enough to it. Ubers, taxis and food delivery were not an issue either.

Being in the top of the building it’s all skylights and high windows. They’ve built a step to lookout the window but I’m short so I didn’t get a view of the outside. Not a deal breaker by any means but an extra step or 2 wouldn’t hurt.

The apartment is really well partitioned and it is perfect for 2 couples. It has a bus station really close. The kitchen in well equipped. The location is good, not to far from the center and in a good and quiet neighbourhood. We had only one ky, but since there is a lock box outside we used that to share the key when we had different plans.

The apartment is huge, very comfortable and clean. You can find there anything you need. The owner is super friendly, caring and helpful. It was a very pleasant stay.

I loved the apartment. It was clean. On coming into the flat, it was warm and had a homely feel for our tired traveling feet. It had everything we needed during our stay in Edinburgh, and we loved it. The kitchen had all the utensils we will need for breakfast. There are shops near the apartment for some shopping, good location. The hosts were lovely with recommendations on each day of our stay and responded quickly to any queries we had.

The entrance door to the block was difficult to assess because the key needed more than a little wiggle to work. It was raining at this time and it ruined the first day of our holiday. So I couldn't give them a 10.

Lovely apartment. Very spacious and well lit. Perfectly clean. Well furnished, had anything we may have needed during our stay. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms had a lot of room and supplies.

Lovely clean spacious apartment very close to the centre of town.

Only issues we had were that the plug for the bath did not seem to work ans some of our party felt the mattresses were a bit uncomfortable, though I never personally had an issue with the mattresses and this could be down to the mattresses they have at home being top of the range
