The Bishop Blaize

The property is in an excellent location. The rooms very lovely and the bed was comfortable. You can take dogs which is great. Staff were very friendly as well.

There weren’t any negatives about the property.

Ideal location but grubby on stair way and bathroom, very helpful staff though. In need of an upgrade.

Cleanliness

Bed was comfortable although twin room for a couple.

No shower, very noisy from Market Square (we did stay on a Saturday), twin beds (more like a dorm) needs a refurb, wires running across floor from bathroom to bedroom (trip hazard), breakfast was a croissant, Alpen bar and orange juice carton left in the room. Sorry but it was a really dingy room. £90 for one night.

The rooms are spacious and right on the main square. The staff was helpful.

It's a bit of an awkward stay. It was said that breakfast was included in the rate (£100 for a twin) and it was just packaged muffins and croissants and instant coffee left in the room- they don't have a real breakfast. I asked if I could keep some milk and yogurt in a fridge for breakfast and was not one that wasn't locked up at night, and we would be gone before staff were onsite again.

We love everything about the place we definitely visit it again

The only thing we could fault is no shower but It was expected for the age of the building

Location was good

the room wasn’t cleaned properly , you were in darkness in the morning downstairs , if you left before the pub opened and had to go out the exit door
