Dove Cot country cottage Ambleside

Great location, easy access to Ambleside and surrounding area for hikes. Comfortable bed, great outdoor space

Cosy little cottage with gorgeous views out the back. Well equipped kitchen. Great jacuzzi bathtub. Very comfortable bed.

Unfortunately the sofa was very uncomfortable, it had been boarded out under the cushions.

The area around the cottage was beautiful, its in a great location to get to all the trails.

The sofa could be abit more comfortable to lounge on after a long walk 🙂

Could do with a deep clean as dirty in areas. Kitchen appliances and some utensils, cutlery could do with being changed as chipped and rusty. Spa bath let out alot of black mould when switched on which was disappointing. Bedroom window wouldn't open. Quite noisy from the road. Also getting in and out of the yard in the car is abit tight and scetchy as lots of fast traffic and you have to pull out to see properly.

The accommodation was everything we saw in the pictures . It also had a secure area to let our dogs out in. We felt totally home from home

It could do with being better signed/ lite from the main road, especially at night .

The property was in a lovely location, and was very well equipped. The heating was on when we got there, and that made it very welcoming. Very spacious and a very comfortable bed. It was very clean and cozy. We only stayed for one night, but would definitely make it a longer stay next time

The only slight negative was the bath was a little on the small side, but it had a shower over it, so no big deal
