Dove Cot country cottage Ambleside

The bed was super comfortable, shower very powerful, quirky and pleasant views from decking. Enclosed garden for dogs.WiFi efficient.

Slightly dated in places and also felt that the kitchen let’s this place down. It was sticky” could have been cleaner. Kitchen taps wobbly. No welcome milk.

The bed was very comfy. I had the best weeks sleep in a long time

It was on a very busy road and we were unable to walk anywhere from the cottage The spa bath was tiny, small even for one

A very comfy, homely cottage with a fabulous view out the back with beautiful gardens & a large grassed area.

The location is what it is - no fault really - but be aware it is right beside a busy road which means a lot of traffic noise during the day and getting in & out with the car is a bit awkward.

Great views and lovely garden down to the river.

Difficult to walk anywhere from the cottage due to the busy main road.

Nicely decorated.

Equipment not working. Heating, hot water, clothes dryer

Lovely location and has been decorated so nice. The jacuzzi bath was also very relaxing after a long walk

Only thing I didn’t like was the feather pillows and duvet, as I’m allergic. But that’s not the owners fault. I normally bring my own but forgot

Location was fab, and lovely garden. It was clean and tidy.

The bedding seemed fusty and the place unfortunately smelled of dog.

Very attractive interior, stylish, comfortable. Tv was excellent and great WiFi. Kitchen facilities were very good too and the cottage was warn and cosy.

Outdoor area steps were a bit tricky and the area needs a bit of tlc.
