Perfect little cozy weekend, loved every second, can't wait to go back

Everything was perfect

Garden was nice, cottage was nice and clean and had everything we needed.

Bit disappointed that we couldn’t walk to the local cafe and pub cos no paths on road. Garden was supposed to be secure but my dog just jumped straight into the owners garden. Not a problem as he won’t run away but other people’s dogs might.

Good communication from the host leading up to stay, providing easy to find directions and contact details. A cosy, relaxed weekend away with our two dogs and an amazing view from the garden. Took them for a nice easy walk along the river to Elterwater with the pram for when our eldest dog needed to give her legs a rest. The kitchen was well equipped, so we stocked up at the local supermarket rather than eat out. We take extra towels and blankets and a flat sheet (for the dogs) with us anyway just in case they get wet....and they did. Ticked all our boxes for a perfect weekend away 😊

Absolutely nothing.

It has to be the location, it's a great typical cottage of the area. From the WiFi to the jacuzzi bath to the kitchen to the bed was great, did I mention the location 😄😄😄

Nothing we didn't like, it's a little dated in details but hads to the character, if you want modern, minimalistic character and design, pick a city break not here. This is great location, just get a brew or glass of wine and go and sit down by the river.

Leak in bathroom, not much hot water. Door locks stiff and drafty. Apart from this enjoyed the stay. Cottage needs a little updating, especially sofa and dinning chairs very rickety. Bed was super comfy, lovely bathroom 👍

Wish we could of stayed longer

Fantastic location with some lovely walks that you can start straight from the cottage. Peaceful and picturesque grounds. Bed was very comfortable!

It was a cosy little cottage. Well equipped. Lovely comfortable bed. Enclosed garden for our dogs. Great host.

Bit tight parking. But we’ve got a Discovery. No problem if it was a regular sized car.
