Green Bird Villas

While property was spotless, new and well situated on a hill overlooking Kandy town. The host Sathis was of great help and went far and beyond to help us with everything. From transport to things to see, he was always there to help make our Sri Lankan experience the best it can be. Would recommend to anyone!

Everything we hoped for

The host was very friendly and helpful. Our child especially enjoyed learning all about the fruits, vegetables and herbs they grow in their garden. The place is spacious and the balcony has a nice view. We liked that it was away from the busy part of town. We usually walked down to town and took a cheap tuk-tuk back up, but the host helped us arrange a ride from the place when needed.

Это не просто вилла — это место, где хочется задержаться надолго. Просторное, идеально чистое жильё, в наличии абсолютно всё, что может понадобиться, и даже больше. Огромный балкон на котором с чашечкой чая, мы встречали рассвет. Вид на горы просто завораживает, а наблюдать за стаями обезьян, которые приходят в обеденное время в поисках пищи, — отдельное удовольствие. Сам хозяин — невероятно отзывчивый и внимательный человек. Он всегда рядом, всегда готов помочь и подсказать. Именно он познакомил нас с местным тук-тукером, который возил нас по городу по очень экономичным ценам, и разузнал точное время представления в Храме Зуба Будды, а затем организовал для нас поездку. Такая забота бесценна. Отдельный плюс — смотровая площадка в шаговой доступности. Идти до неё буквально 2 минуты, оттуда открывается невероятный вид на Канди в разное время суток. Единственный нюанс: возвращение из-за холмов не так приятно (в горку), поэтому лучше всего планировать посещение площадки по пути на прогулку в город. Обязательно вернёмся. Всем сердцем рекомендую!

The place was gorgeous! Surrounded by nature, deep green everywhere you look plus a view of the mountains. Everything was as described. Set in the hills of Kandy away from the hustle of bustle of the town but only a 10-15 minute walk down to the lake. Witnessed sunrise from the balcony with our morning coffee so beautiful and peaceful inside the villa is a huge living space, all new and modern. The place is surrounded windows... amazing! Wifi , air conditioning and hot water facilities are very good. The bed is huge and comfy with a big ensuite. It was very clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need to live. My wife, daughter and I felt very comfortable! The host Sathis made feels super welcome; he is such a friendly human and very helpful, explained everything and what and where to go. Any questions you may have or if you needed anything, Sathis assisted with a smile. We had really nice conversations. If we take another trip to Kandy, we will definitely stay at Sathis. I give honestly a 10/10. Thanks for everything...

Spotlessly clean unit. Great location, close to town but quiet. Sathis is a great host, he helped us with everything we needed, sightseeing, tuk tuk, car for onward journey. Laundry was quick. Great Marma therapy done at the unit.

Прекрасное размещение. Красивый большой уютный дом. Чистота. Есть все для приготовления пищи. Приветливый отзывчивый хозяин. Был всегда рядом. Сначала нам показалось что дом далеко от центра города, Но потом мы привыкли и не испытывали дискомфорта. Размещение однозначно рекомендую.

Unterkunft sehr groß, sehr sauber und Gastgeber sehr bemüht, nett und höfflich. Klimaanlage und warmes Wasser!,Ruhige Gegend zum Wohnen, im Gegensatz zu Kandy Stadt wo Hektik und Lärm herrscht. Wohnung mit wunderschönen Ausblick und wie schon erwähnt ruhig! Unsere beste Unterkunft bisher in Sri Lanka. Sehr gutes Preis /Leistungsverhältnis. Absolute Empfehlung für Familien!

The apartment is beautiful and clean, with a view down the hill. Very comfortable, we had everything we needed. The owner is friendly and helped us a lot with our requests. There's a good restaurant with a lake view just a couple minutes away
