Green Bird Villas

Super schoon, ver boven standaard. Bijzonder mooi appartement. Enorm aardige host, helpt met alles wat je nodig hebt. Mooi groot appartement ook. Bij aankomst voor het verblijf zou je niet verwachten dat je dit aantreft. Initieel 1 nacht geboekt maar uiteindelijk meerdere nachten verbleven. Wat het extra speciaal maakt is dat de host alle afval sorteert en van het plastic maskers maakt. Prijs kwaliteit ver boven verwachting!!!

A short walk above hot and crowded Kandy is this calm and cool oasis. The host is as described in these reviews, helpful and engaged. In our case, my train to Kandy was canceled inexplicably and he quickly arranged a private car to pick us up at the railway station in Colombo. Top tier service. The apartment is generous, with a great kitchen and a dining room and a living room, it's a lot of space. I especially liked the view from the bedroom.

This is a real 10, I didn't see any flaws.

Host was friendly and supportive. Property was clean, and had lot of space.

Overall, everything was good as we had hired a driver. However, do note that the property is in a pristine neighborhood, but reasonably far from the city centre. So, plan accordingly for food.

Perfect in every aspect

Very nice situated in the higher areas of Kandy with a great view into the green. Relaxing stay away from the hectic and loud Kandy city center but actually very close by foot.

This big apartman / home stay has 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, all well equipped. We had some difficulty to find the place first, it s quite up the hill, would definetely not walk even with shortcuts, but it s a few minutes tuktuk ride from the center, sonit was not a problem. We went down in town to get some food and breakfast, but it s not very convenient if you are used to get breakfast at your accomodation. There were some renovation works / buildings in the neighbouring houses. It was a good, spacious place for our family for our short stay in Kandy. Wifi worked well.

Host Sathis introduced us to a very good tuktuk driver to get around the city tour. Apartment is very clean, good Wi-Fi and comfortable stay. We were able to experience some good meditation and marma massage therapy here. I will definitely be recommending this apartment to everyone.

All is well

This was out sixth accomodation in Sri Lanka and by far the best. Spotless clean, modern, and large. The host was kind and attentive.

Wifi was not the best, but this has been our overall experience in Sri Lanka everywhere.
