The Loft Brighton

To be fair the staff was so helpful with brilliant hospitality! The place/location was perfect.The place was so comfortable & cosy & clean with everything that you would need.On going out,everything from ,shops restaurants,pubs,the peir etc was on our door step.worth every penny!!! I loved it so much,that I booked this lovely place again in 3 months for another hoiladay,can't wait.Thank you

The only thing I can say,was the tv was a bit difficult to use hence I couldn't find the normal channels but we did find i think it was Prime so we got to watch some movies.so all good!!!

Clean, tidy and eveything needed for a perfect stay! Location was great. Although on a busy street, there was no noise that could be heard inside.

It was excellent, very clean and tidy, had everything you needed there. Highly recommend if you want to stay in Brighton.

Very nice location lots of easily accessible shops nearby. Train station was only a short walking distance.

The studio was beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable.

Was difficult getting in and out of the studio with the pushchair ( stairs)

Stayed here on a 4 night 5 day mini break with my family during the May 2025 half term.  We loved our stay!  The apartment is such an easy walk from the train station and minutes walk to the seafront, pier and centre. St James Street itself is bustling and you can buy almost anything on this street.  From English to Greek, to Polish, to Indian and ingredients for Afro Caribbean food - the street has it all.  A real melting pot. Charlotte and Ian were fab and very responsive.  I had to contact the hosts a couple of times, to which they responded immediately and rectified issues. The apartment itself faces away from St James Street, which was a bonus with a child.  No loud noises at night from revellers coming home. The apartment inside was so cosy with most modcons - kettle, toaster, microwave, cooking hob, oven, small fridge, utensils, cups and glasses. Netflix is also a feature on the tv which we utilised on a day it rained. A real nice touch of having bleach, shower gel and washing up stuff in the apartment too. Saves having to buy it.

The only thing I would suggest could be improved would be the door to the actual apartment.  Extra locks or a securer door would be better.  I visit Brighton often with friends who are girls - not sure we'd feel 100% safe as lone females with only one Yale lock. Having said that, my family and I would definitely come back here if Charlotte and Ian would allow us!

The place was filthy when we walked in there was a funny smell we only Stayed 1 night it wasn't like the photos they need updating all the furniture was different to pic the shower screen was disgusting the floors were filthy we spilt a bit of milk and wiped it up with a cloth and the cloth was black when we got in the shower our feet were disgusting , the were black underneath from the floor the toaster was unusable the bedside table had several ring marks on from i don't know how many previous occupants i got a wet cloth and cleaned them off and they did come off so it wasn't as if they were permanent the little round table was filthy the worktop / breakfast bar was sticky to touch we were meant to be staying and paid for 3 nights but only stayed for one as it was so bad the couch and chair which were completely different from the photos were dirty and uncomfortable We actually booked a hotel in London through booking, com as we couldn't stay in there any longer The owner text me to tell me they wanted to drop a new fridge off and i told them we had left and all we got in return was ok have a safe journey they didn't even enquire why we were leaving after 1 night
