Gorgeous Central Hastings Old Town

Amazing location ! Super clean , comfortable bed, our room had a great view of the Main Street in the old town, we sat and drank coffee just peacefully looking out the window crowd watching

Lovely room, beautifully decorated, comfy bed, good showers and kitchen very clean.

No towels, loo paper. Our room had a comfy bed and gorgeous curtains but a plastic bag stuffed in a lock which had been taken out to stop people being able to see into our room and a post it note to mark out our room number.

Lovely old property full of character. The location couldn’t be better. Always someone on hand to help or advise. Very comfy bed. View of the sea from the kitchen. Lovely big kitchen table to sit at and lounge. Manager even helped us carry our luggage downstairs when we left!

No loo roll in one of the shower rooms. Blind broken in the kitchen and tap wobbly.

I could not gain entry to the property or my room. Please return my booking fee as I did not manage to enter my room and had to book another room. I a different hotel. The owner sent me the entry code the following day. JUST A LITTLE LATE.

We've swapped our booking for Duplex apartment which was great with all the space of 3 floors (kitchen & living room, bedroom & 2 shower rooms, 2 bedrooms) and fantastic location only 1 min from the Amusement park and the beach. Lovely apartment for a group of friends or family gateway with spacious kitchen dining area. Clean overall but needs attention in some areas.

The towels were clean, folded but wet. Some of the sash windows do not close at all letting the draft and damp in. Visible spider webs (ceiling). Some windows behind heavy curtains are very dirty.

Nothing couldn't even get in the place rung the woman she said message so I did still nothing and haven't received a refund

The rooms were VERY dirty, the ‘management’ could barely speak English, we had to wait outside for 15 minutes for someone to come downstairs to open the door. we had hired the whole 3 bed apartment and there was a communal area door that opened onto the stairwell of the property, it had no lock fitted, so multiple times during the evening we had random unwanted people walk into our apartment. After expressing our concerns, Their resolution was to screw a very small screw into the architrave to ‘secure’ the door. I had originally booked the apartment for two nights… but booked somewhere else to stay for the second night at a loss so as to not have to stay here any longer than necessary.
