"Amazing family vacation at an amazing resort"

Our entire trip was perfect, I've stayed at Beach Cove 3 times, our first trip there was in 2010, we've never had a bad stay and plan on visiting again

"Go somewhere else!!!!"

We rented through Airbnb. The elevators are SLOW, the resort is crowded, and the smell of marijuana is overwhelming. We can’t even sit on the balcony to enjoy the view 🤮 never again!!!

"Would not recommend this resort to anyone"

Room was nice

Pool area was terrible. All pools steps slippery. I fell as did several others. Extremely dangerous. Nowhere near enough chairs for such a large resort and chairs hard as bricks to lay on. Our room had steps not listed in description- glad we didn’t have elderly person with us to navigate unknown steps. Elevators need ceiling fans to at least move air- incredibly hot .

"Great View Terrible Service"

Let’s just say this you are paying for the view and pool access, NOT the service. If you have a package that includes food and beverage or arcade credits, *TRIPLE CHECK* the times they are open. The website does not have correct hours and the staff had no idea when anything would open, which caused us to not be able to use some of our packages that we paid for. We contacted the Hotel about a refund for the packages we couldn’t use, but we have not heard from anyone since we checked out even after calling emailing and filling out surveys. Unfortunately, the team there must be severely understaffed because all the workers from front desk to bartenders seemed severely annoyed with helping us. The only person on staff that truly smiled at us and asked us how our day was going or if we needed any help was Ariana the security supervisor who is a third-party employee who stopped to help me when I was bagging up my to-go food on the floor because the person working the breakfast room wouldn’t help me. As far as the room, it definitely needs some serious maintenance upkeep— the biggest issue we had was a safety issue that the hair dryer did not have a back on the fan, so my kid hurt his finger in it and it caught my hair in the fan creating a huge knot that I had to cut out. I mentioned this to the hotel, but they do not seem to care since we have already paid for the stay. For food beverage, our first meal from the bar our first day was delicious! The second two meals we got to-go to use our credits we ended up throwing out. Our second meal from the bar was lukewarm and almost soggy so we didn’t want our kids to eat that. Our breakfast on the last day to go all of the eggs were full of eggshells so we could not eat that either. I am still trying to connect with the property to have my husband’s prescription glasses mailed to us that were left in the room, but I have not been able to reach an actual human being on property since we left five days ago. The only person that has responded is their social media manager who has tried to help me get in touch with someone but no luck. I unfortunately would not recommend this resort as I feel there are many other options that would probably provide better service within the area. As someone who ran hotels for 10 years, I love praising hotels for wonderful service and experiences, but this was by for the worst experience we have ever had at a hotel.
