What a wow factor when you walk in The outside definitely doesn't match whats inside. Super quirky. The most comfortable couch ever We have said we would definitely stay there again For us being walkers a clothes airer would of been amazing

Bathroom wasnt very clean. Mattress super comfy, pillows not so much. You can see the wear and tear

The place itself was lovely and the owners were fantastic with their communication. We loved the location. Had a lovely time!

We did have someone from the flats nearby park in front of us and block us in and had to knock for them to move their car as we were in a rush to leave as had to leave earlier which was unexpected.

The location

Cleanliness the front door would not lock and two women go in there we did not feel safe because the door wouldn’t lock the bathroom door handle fell off. The showerhead would not stay up overall it was a terrible experience and the hot water at the boiler was turned off and I did inform the gentleman the owner and on the day that we arrived and he did not get back to me, so I was very disappointed with him .

Location for an event I was in was perfect. Host was quick to come to the property to sort an issue with the door and a lovely bloke. It’s quirky and decorated nice.

The location was also hidden at the back of shops/ town and was noisy at times which tbf you would have expected. Shower was non existent to the point I didn’t bother with another one in the morning, definitely needs updating/ sorting. No toilet roll which caught me off guard, thankfully not a number two.

The apartment was in the centre of Brecon. The quirkiness of the place was great. Comfy bed. TV. Sofa. Great sized kitchen and dining area. Cleaning cloths etc.. 2 towels and hand towels. A couple of used loo rolls in drawer in bathroom. Not worried as I brought my own. Heating was great. Car parking. We have large SUV and got it parked between 2 cars, but when we had to leave we were blocked in, but it was tge builders cars that were working above us on the day we were leaving.

When entering the building a knife that was balanced on the back of the coat hooks on the door fell off. That was the knife yiu had to use to prise the lock back to make the door secure. The owner informed us that thos will be fixed on Monday!!! We arrived Friday... Then the door handle to bathroom came off in my hand as I pulled open the heavy fire door to the bathroom. Had to use a wedge to stop door from closing and being locked in there. Shower holder broken., so you have to hold onto shower head to shower or it flops back to the wall. I went back on reviews and this was noted in 2024. Really does need a new shower and good scrub. Toiletries meaning hand wash and moisturizer just needs filling up. Lots of small amounts left in bottles.. Early 6.20am wake up on Sunday morning with drilling, hammering and something else mechanical as they were taking tiles off the walls and ripping up flooring above where we slept. I couldn't believe it. Recorded the noise and contacted the owner of the cellar, who apologized for our disturbance and asked me what do you want me to do? What do you say to that? Even though we had been offered a later check out to 12pm due to the front door problem, we showered and left. I honestly couldn't make this up. Our friends who were staying at a nearby hotel were shocked when they came down. We had to find the owner of the car who was working above and ask him to move his car. I said nice early wake up at 6.20am. Is it allowed to go on at this time. He shrugged his shoulders. He said that he knew the owner and that was it. I still can't believe that he hadn't told the owners. But obviously no harm done to them. Yes the property is priced reasonably well I thought we might be offered a part refund. Still had no response back.

The staff was fast contacting so if you had a problem they replied fast. It was round the corner to a lovely town with great shops. The place was very Homely had all kitchen stuff needed. And the lighting in the place was impeccable!

The parking out the front wasn't the best but it wasn't an issue as we decided to park 10 minutes away which was completely fine in the end. (We was warned it was small and might be busy) The bed was uncomfortable but other than that no complaints.
