We had a bad experience. We were given a room - Room 6 - which doesn't have an independent entrance and is only a mezzanine built directly above - and only accessible through - the hotel kitchen, where staff work and cook breakfast for all guests in the morning. Also, the same space also serves as front desk and reception for guests throughout the day and evening. When we arrived there was no sign of life from the outside and we had to ask another hotel to show us wehre the place was. Inside there was a friend of the owner, who give us the room, but couldn't answer any of our questions. We decided not to stay although we had already paid, we had to book another hotel last minute, which cost us a fortune.

Location in Tulum is great, right next to the beach. Price for a room is very reasonable and good value. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Free breakfast was basic but tasty!

Noise. Our room was next to the road and you can hear traffic and a generator. There are ear plugs available, but I did sleep through it and got used to it. Other rooms would have been bit quieter. If you’ve had a few drinks or tired, it won’t be too bad.

The facilities were exactly what I expected when I booked. We loved our host, Brenda. The staff was all lovely.

It’s loud, but I knew that walking in. I purchased silicon earplugs and I slept like a champ!

KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THEY CHEAT PEOPLE. I had to call booking.com during the night because we couldnt sleep. And the operator said he can hear on the telephone that awful sound of agregator and it is not appropriate that they treat people like this.

KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THEY CHEAT PEOPLE. We had to leave after one night and they didn't give us money back. It is not as they describe it. They built few shelter constructions on a parking place between other hotels. There is an electricity agregator and it makes sound as if it is helicopter. You cannot stay at that place because of the 24/7 awful noice, you cannot sleep at night. Also it is located right on the ONLY road so it is extra noice from all cars and people and nearby clubs. We complained how can they place people in such conditions (and we paid 180$ per night) and they said, literraly, "take it or leave it", If you don't like you find another hotel. The owner is very ARROGANT man, he was very rude talking to us. Everything smelt awful in the room, pillows, bed sheets. We saw how they take dirty blankets and give it to other guests. It is very dark in those rooms, smels like mould and everything is wet. Water in shower is saulty and they have problems with hot water. Breakfast is a joke: 2 piecec of fried toast bread with sugar and few pieces of melon. Unfortunately we had to stay one night there because we arrived late and were tired. It was THE WORST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED AT and we travel a lot. It was supposed to be nice "eco quiet place" experience and it turned to be a horror.

Great beach access

Super touristy area. Very expensive to get food. We drove into town daily to get lunch, snacks, and beer.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is fine.

Terrible WiFi. Horrible mosquito situation because the room is "open air". Racoons at night on the roof making noise for hours. Main door lock/handle was broken. The common kitchen was "clean" but everything was sticky.

It's really close to the party area. There was a nice breakfast included in the price. Close to the nature, unique experience if you're looking for that.

We arrived after 8 and we had to check-in ourselves. Instruction for the parking was not sufficient. There's a loud electricity generator in the next hotel's garden (so it's not this hotel's fault), but it's pretty loud even during the night.

I loved being in the jungle, I felt snuggled by nature and slept the best sleep ever. It feels very secluded once you enter the gate, yet you are in a central location. The price for the neighborhood is unmatched. The outdoor bathrooms were artfully designed and super special. Our hostess Brenda was very helpful and always nearby and accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious and healthy. The beach access is a close walk to the Dos Ceibas Beach Club where you can actually find chicken lime soup on the menu.
