Eco Bañitas Tulum

WIFI did work quite well.

The service at this property is so much laid back that it is almost nonexistent!!! 1. NOBODY SPOKE ENGLISH when I checked in and I got NO information on how this property functions. Only later, there was a lady who spoke English and gave me a little info solely on when to close the entrance - that was it!! 2. I got my room cleaned only at the end of my stay (after I had to ask for toiletries). They have a system with wooden plates you must hang on your doors in order to get your room cleaned. But, they did not explain it at check-in nor gave me the plates. It was the 4th day of my stay when the English-speaking lady gave them to me with: 'I forgot to explain to you...' 3. The rooms are designed in a way that ALLOWS MOSQUITOS TO GET IN SUPER EASILY. To my surprise, my room was connected to the outside uncovered toilet with no real doors and the mosquito net was NOT COVERING my bed. You can not do anything about it..., so, I ended up being bitten every night and got a strong allergic reaction. 4. The bed sheets were smelly! and you can fully hear people walking outside. 5. IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF DOGS, do not come! They have two big dogs freely wandering the property. 6. The breakfast starts at 8:30 am (which was the time I already had activities in Tulum). When I asked if they can leave me something, the lady quite unwillingly promised to leave some fruits for me. But, SHE NEVER DID... The last two days I managed to go out later and got served quite a poor breakfast (attaching pics).

The room and the outdoor bathroom was really nice. The breakfast/chill out area is very nice.

Depending on the hut, it's very close to the road and not quiet. A little more fruit for breakfast would've been appreciated.

I really like the property and the manager Nicole. She is very attentive, prompt and knowledgeable. She knows a lot about Tulum and is definitely a fantastic guide. The staff is polite and attentive as well. I would definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Very nice and cosy place. Almost felt like I was in Thailand. Good and very friendly service. Great beach and awesome waves. Nice tacos on rest nearby.

Tulum is very turisted, but everyone should know that.

We enjoyed every moment of our staying at Co.Bañitas. Our host Nicole is a super nice girl with hints about the surroundings and is ready to help if something is happening with the accommodation.

The beds are quite smaller than my size 187 cm (6.2 feet). I was with my feet in the air, but no worries about this, I've managed my sleep. For any future quests, be aware there is a jungle and be prepared for heat and mosquitos (bring your repellant or buy one from a close pharmacy, there are a lot of them, ear plugs if the noise of generators is uncomfortable for you - any place on that street has one).

The location of the property is in a quiet zone and close to the beach. Nicole was very nice and always was accommodating to our needs. We stayed in a tent and the room was better than expected, the guests were respectful of the quiet hours. I would totally stay there again. We had to leave early, and they rushed to serve breakfast before we left.

The payment was supposed to be made through the app and I had to do it at the property instead, the exchange rate was not very convenient for us.

Lovely staff, great breakfast, comfortable beds, fast internet.

Too many misquotes, specially inside our tent, we got eaten up alive during the night.

the noise of traffic and generators (which is probably everywhere on the tulum strip and at least here were no noisy clubs 😇)
