Maja House Penida

Price quality is amazing. The staff is really kind, welcoming and helpful. Also a really quiet and good location, we stayed here for over a week and really enjoyed it! Simple but ideal. Would totally recommend it

I am so happy I booked two nights at Maja on booking.com. I received a very warm welcome from Roni, who runs the place with his family He was so helpful, organizing scooter rides to visit the islands, drop off at the port, booking the snorkeling trip, Giving tips for eating, getting a massage, or attending ceremonies at the temple with proper outfit. It was a real gentleman, I think I didn’t many people as gentle as he or his wife. I wish them all the best for the future. And I really hope Nusa Penida will remain this little place of paradise on earth, and will not get spoiled by tourism, constructions, and pollution. I hope they can manage sustainable tourism 🙏🏼

- Very good location (especially when with scooter), - parking provided, - big basic room and big bathroom, hot water running - comfortable bed, - kettle provided, - quiet location.

Roni was an absolute legend. Helped me out with printing my visum extension and took me on a few tours to see some sights and temples, set up a snorkeling tour, helped me with getting transportation away from the island when the time had come to leave and even took me to a temple where mostly only locals come. He was incredibly welcoming, warm and friendly. Aside from that the room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfy.

We LOVED it here! Roni and the team were great. They made sure we had a very comfortable stay. We booked our manta ray snorkelling trip through the accommodation and also rented a good scooter at a good price.

Normally we find at least 1 thing wrong with an accommodation. But everything was perfect! 😆
