Cosy One Bedroom Digbeth Apartment

Don’t you mean what didn’t I like? There were stains everywhere the eye could see. From the chairs to the bed, the place looked like it hosted a party the night before.

Let’s start with arrivals shall we.. As soon as you arrive, you’re greeted with graffiti all across the walls and inside the lift. The carpet covered in stains from the main entrance all the way to the front door. Speaking of the front door, which was dirty, as soon as we opened the door we were greeted with this sticky sensation under our feet and it felt as if the floor had been moped with cordial. The walls, covered in make up stains. The bed had a stain to add to the torment. The pictures advertised did not match what we opened the door to. The plastering on the wall in the living room (photos will be attached) made the flat feel unfinished and uncared for, and was not advertised that way on Booking.com. The toilet seat broke as soon as you lifted the lid, the chairs all had stains on them. The walls had multiple make up stains. The fact we paid £187 for this is a joke in itself, but basic cleaning clearly went out the window with this place. We decided not to stay in this accommodation. The first reason being, the countless stains which bleed into the bed, chairs and walls. The overall vibe in the block felt unsafe and we did not feel comfortable leaving any of our personal belongings in the flat whilst out. This resulted in having to find emergency accommodation around 11pm. This was very inconvenient, stressful whilst talking to Booking.com over the phone, and searching for a new hotel at the same time, and incredibly expensive. When trying to communicate with the hosts through many WhatsApp messages, they did not respond to my enquiry of getting a refund, even though we did not stay for even a night. The only correspondence I have after the incident is to ‘cancel the booking’ when this booking has now passed, and I have urged them to reply to emails from Booking.com. This experience really put a strain on what was supposed to be a festive weekend away, so I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

The location was convenient for our stay. The apartment was quiet.

The communal areas of the building were very dirty. The apartment was clean but in poor repair. There was no hot water. No attempt was made to explain or apologise. The hosts then stopped replying.

The property was nice and clean despite finding a condom wrapper by the bed. Heating worked fine.

No TV!!!!! There was NO tv even tho it was promised in the booking i was highly disappointed. Tried to make contact with the agent and no answer. NO WIFI !!!! The wifi was poor, it didnt work whats so ever it was terrible to be honest. Towels there was two of us and one towel not really serious issue tho

No TV in the Apartment, although on the website it shows one, I ask for the issue to be resolved but wasn't.

The place was dirty the bed sheets were dirty the table was dirty the toilet was dirty and broken . The microwave had rotten food in it with smelled very badly from what i experience this place isn't fit to rent to nobody because there was no hot water in there neither to be honest i would like a refund for my bad experience . I tired to call the number with was on the booking to complain and set emails the number didn't work and i had no reply from the emails.

When I arrived the dishes were dirty in the dishwasher, the curtain in the bedroom and living room was broken, it was uncomfortable with the brightness and lack of privacy
