Couple Friendly Stay Our stay at The Elms in Thekkady was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, the staff Mr. Philip made us feel like family with their warm hospitality and attentiveness. They went above and beyond in arranging a memorable trip to Gavi, including a thrilling jeep ride that allowed us to explore the stunning landscapes. We also enjoyed an incredible Kalari and Kathakali show, which was a fantastic way to experience the local culture. The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained, providing the perfect retreat after a day of adventures. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful views added to the overall experience. I can't recommend The Elms enough! If you're looking for a welcoming place with fantastic service and great activities, this is it. We left with wonderful memories and a desire to return!

Beautiful place at a central location with welcoming staff in a modern well furnished apartments with European touch.

Everything was good and their was nothi g you wouldn't like in this apartment.

I stayed a couple of nights with a group of friends as part of our trip through Kerala. Our stay was great! The room was extremely clean, it matched the description and, since the property has been renovated recently, all the facilities worked without issues: especially the AC and the WiFi. The location is also perfect for all Kumily's activities. Peryiar park, Kalari shows and off-road Jeep tour were all reachable on foot from the property. Special thanks to Jerin, the manager! He was really friendly and helped us with all our needs. We arranged a cab with him to move to our next stop in our trip. Highly recommend

The property lists different kind of payment methods but wasn't ready to accept international credit/debit card yet. In the end we had to pay with cash. Better to contact the property in advance and check with them.

Location and staff. The hotel is very nice, spotless and modern, large room very comfortable Jerin and Shebin are very kind and superb helpful they made us feel at home.

Wonderful villa with an excellent modern European style decor that will captivate you. It's spic clean with modern Fittings and furnishings. It's absolutely stunning and comfortable. The moment you see the property and step in, you are overwhelmed by the beauty of the place. It's absolutely same / possibly a shade better than what you see in pics. Jerin & shebin who manage the property are extremely supportive in every respect. You feel absolutely at home here. Location is wonderul absolutely at centre of the town from where u can cover all places of interest with an absolute ease. As it is a villa converted into a hotel, though their is no inhouse restaurant but Tea kettle is available in roons and tgey serve Tea / coffee / small savouries from kitchen, if / as desired and many good cafes are just a small walk away from the place. We are very frequent travellers in India as well as glibally and this property meets international / european stabdards as in fact the property belongs to an artist irishman and you can see many of his wonderful works in the property, startibg from the entry point.

Everything is absolutely fine here. Though not very consequential for many as most people use their own phones/ laptops / I pads for viewing entertainment programs of their chouce but availability of some TV channels on available TV / set up boxes may help some.

Every thing was good

Had a chat with Liz and Joel, her son, who are the property owners. Very sweet to talk to! Now coming to the property, one thing you'll notice immediately is how extremely well kept their property is. Liz is a perfectionist and that shows in how the property is maintained by the staff. Even after being a homestay, it's super clean and organized, the kitchen is so well kept, almost feels like it is newly made for you to use. The color themes in the property and the balconies, everything is very well designed. I feel like an interior designer reviewing a stay but I can't help it. For complete meals, you order from outside and the delivery people will drop it at your door too. The coffee (they may also have other options) from their kitchen is very homely!

Nothing really! You'll miss an in-house restaurant if you're used to that, but the delivery guys are able to drop food at your room door so that's no problem at all
