Wern farm cottage

Clean uncluttered house lovely position, everything you could need was there. Coffee etc so we could make a drink before we unpacked. Was juice and warm, efficient heating. Chip shop 25 yards away, very nice too.pubs easy to get to, one across the rd. Convenience store 3 mins walk away. Front door opens onto towpath.

Parking as had to walk around corner to get to front door, not far but was raining.

The property was easy to get to, very clean and had great facilities. We had a really comfortable stay. The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Cosy

The beds were very hard Needs new mattress on the double bed as there is no padding between that and the bed.

Location was excellent, near a friend we were visiting. Good instructions given on finding the accommodation. Easy check-in and check-out with the keybox. Great communication with the host.

The cottage was perfectly sized for our short stay with 2 dogs. We had plenty of space and the modern facilities were perfect. The location on the footpath was good for walking the dogs and we had no issue with noise and slept amazingly. There are pubs/restaurants close by, and the grocery stores are within 10 minutes.

A small info sheet, namely to give us info about the rubbish/recycling information, heating and general info would be good. Also we did not know what we had to do for check-out (although we also didn't ask), so we just left it as clean as possible and put the keys in the lock box. The Sofas are OK, but could do with replacing.

Location was fabulous..house was clean and tidy and rooms were perfect Lovely walks both ways on canal and amenities nearby fab. Chip shop a definite must
