Basic amenities not provided. Had to ask for everything. Restaurant not operational. Wake up call not done as promised. Not close to Golden Temple Bed sheets and cover not clean. Tea/coffee mugs had to be asked for also tea/ coffee sachets not adequate. Unwillingness to give a bill after check out.

Location of the property is well‑known & it’s about 2 km from the Golden Temple & market. They have private parking right in front of the main entrance. I received a call to confirm my ETA because I was late for the general check‑in time but the room was ready at my check‑in time. Room – spacious & clean, walls are soundprood, up to expectations. The bed was comfortable. I’ve been traveling for 10 days & had serious back & shoulder pain from uncomfortable beds but after the first night at Best Western Plus my pain improved & it was almost gone by the second night. Very happy with this! Hot water is not available all the time. I had to shower with cold water most of the time. As someone who takes two showers a day, I expected hot water in the evening but on the checkout morning I still didn’t get it. The basin never got hot water during my stay so I had to heat water in the kettle to wash my face when it was 5 to 8°C outside. Water wasn’t provided in the room & I had to ask for it several times. They do not provide a hair dryer. Breakfast was repeated both days (Idli‑Sambhar & Chutney, Puri‑Bhaji, Porridge, boiled eggs, Paratha, canned juice, Tea ‑Coffee, Papaya ‑Watermelon). The Idli on day 1 was uncooked but the Puri‑Bhaji is a must‑try. Very delicious! Staff is helpful & serve personally. Breakfast was included but on day 2 I was told it wasn’t & would have to pay. They had to check their system, which I feel could have been avoided. I requested a late check‑out because my flight was late in the evening. They happily gave me till 1 pm, after which it would be chargeable per their system.

Great staff, room, location,best hotel in Town...very nearto Gurudwsra snd all the prominent places. ....rooms are very spacious thsn Hyatt and Taj..my friend suggested this place...worth every penny...
