Beautiful, rustic bungalow

A lovely, spacious, traditional style bungalow. Nice decor and artwork. Very handy for Southwold and other nearby Suffolk beauty spots. Lovely towns, inc. Beccles, Bungay, Halesworth, Framlingham IF weather not good enough for beach.

Cooking facilities are limited with only a small Table top oven, plus a basic microwave. Main bedroom needs blackout lining on front curtains. 5am early sunrise very bright and woke us up! A few issues with cleanliness/cobwebs in places.

Location

When we arrived the bungalow was not very clean. The bedrooms were lovely. The rest of the rooms were dusty lots of dead flys on window sills , cobwebs hanging from the ceilings and one of the bedrooms had no doors on wardrobes and mildew inside. The bathroom floor was Dirty and slippery. Going back to the brown wardrobe part of the door fell off to one of the guests.

Location was excellent for Southwold - only a few minutes by car down the road. Nice, quiet location. Little supermarket just down the road, Perfect!

Nothing to dislike

lovely bathroom, very nicely decorated through out , very well stocked . front drive for two cars . 10mins from Southwold pier by car .. Convenience store 3mins walk away

patio /lawned area and needed some TLC , but very convenient for dogs . back door noisy in the wind and needed better security . Front door very hard to open from inside , very stiff lock which could create problems in an emergency .
