It has a very good location. The tents are quite large, very clean, and well equipped. They are located by the river, so in the evening you can hear various sounds made by hippos. Safari is already included in the price. The food could be better. Wi-Fi does not work in the tent. The safari was perfect. Our jeep driver was amazing. We saw everything we wanted to see.

We stayed at Mara Intrepids Camp for five nights in January and had a great experience. When researching the Masai Mara, we found it hard to get clear information on what’s included (game drives, park fees, etc.), so hopefully this helps. Getting there: The camp is right next to Mara–Olkiombo Airstrip (a two-minute jeep transfer). We flew Air Kenya from Nairobi Wilson and would definitely recommend flying rather than driving — it’s much quicker. We arrived before breakfast and were immediately looked after, and within minutes were watching hippos in the river by reception. The camp can also help arrange flights. Game drives: We had three shared drives per day included in our rate (booked direct and price matched to Booking.com). You can combine the morning drives into one longer drive with breakfast in the bush. Park fees were $100 per person per 24 hours (Jan–June; $200 July–Dec) and arranged through the hotel before our first drive. The camp’s central location means less driving and more wildlife time. For 3.5 days we had the jeep to ourselves. Our guide, Ezekiel, was excellent and very experienced. We saw a wide range of wildlife including lions, a cheetah and baby elephants. At camp: Warm, attentive hospitality (thank you Dinah, Joshua, Missala, Loisana and Sylvester). The river setting is beautiful and very well maintained. The official photos don’t really do it justice!!

This is the 2nd time we visited Masai Mara, compared with the previous experience, I would highly recommend Mara Intrepids to everyone who plan to visit Masai Mara and expect a one-stop service including airstrip transportation, professional safari and hospitality from room and restaurant service! 1. The location is perfect, inside the park, next to Talek river, nearby lots of animals you can closely see. 2. The room facility is all good and equips with all you need, even the anti-mosquito lotion. 3. They have the wake-up service every morning if you plan to do early safari (offering you coffee/tea with cookies) 4. Most of the time, you don't need to eat buffet, they offers set menu with various options, and all the restaurant service team is excellent! 5. The most important, safari drivers are the best in masai mara comparing with the aegncy's. They well-know all the wildlife in Masai Mara and would like to share with you their stories, e.g. each lion pride name/what happened to them etc.

We met a huge tourist group (seems from US) which was too noisy and totally destroyed the natural quite atmosphere in restaurant, all of other people had to suffer from their loud music and shouting, while the camp manager cannot do anything.

We truly enjoyed the dedicated and genuine hospitality of the entire staff and the beautifully lay out of the property, made one feel not only so welcome, but relaxed by knowing one would be taking good care of. The well equipped rooms in the form of a safari camp made the stay feel like one was participating in a updated version of the legendary book Out of Africa, comfortable and yet even cozy one may say. And then to top it all, we were thrilled by the way the drives were expertly arranged to maximized the day (that somehow always flew by) with such a friendly and knowledgeable driver (we got Dennis) who not only was absolutely great with the making the search for wildlife a memorable experience, but also created a safe environment for us to relax and enjoy the admirable natural beauty of Kenya's Masai Mara!

Leaving for sure, was the main thing we did not like, However, we encountered discrepancies between the meals that were offered in the neatly described menus and the food items that were served. Somehow there was a disconnect in communication somewhere that made the gracious wait staff seem not to be aware and only noticed it after after it was brought to their attention. The items that were missing at the different meals (this happened more than once) were eventually addressed, yet such a discrepancy or lapse in service, really felt out of place when compared to the overall attentive experience we received throughout our stay.

Le site. Les chambres. Safari dans voiture ouverte privative 3 fois par jour. Les hippopotames dans la rivière qui longe l’hôtel, un vrai spectacle. Le feu du soir. La préparation des chambres pour la nuit avec la bouillotte chaude dans le lit. Le café dans la chambre avant le départ du safari de 6h30. Raphael super guide qui nous a même aidé pour notre retour vers Nairobi.

Le froid dans les tentes avec la météo et l’humidité. Draps humides.

Tivemos momentos incríveis no Intrepids, sem dúvidas um dos melhores hotéis que já fiquei. Os funcionários são todos muitos gentis e educados. Em especial Duncan, que nos acolheu muito bem, Pauline - nossa querida garçonete que se tornou amiga ♥️ e ao John, nosso herói que nos proporcionou visões incríveis dos animais no nossos passeios de carro. Recomendo para todos!!
