TV channel only 2 (Hindi and Malay) no English and one of the room had heater issue but been rectify

There was absolutely nothing I really liked about the place!

Staff none existent, didnt even carry the suitcases to and back from reception, room cleaners only work on certain days, no activities local, very strict rules around the pool ie: no food/drinks, no diving, no shouting, no running, shower before enter the pool etc, no restaurant/cafe the whole place was in need of a refurb, the place was dilapidated, the private beach was full of litter that had obviously been there for years, they need to close the place down and completely restore the it, worst place I have ever been! The pictures on booking.com must be really old pictures!

The chalets were an exciting place to be in. It is a grand hotel, no doubt - but large portion of it is under maintenance. It has little facilities. Love the fact that they had a little kitchenette which was very useful. Price wise, they are not bad.

1. It is not clean. 2. Not all chalets are owned by Langkawi Lagoon - a thing they do not advertise. We were given a chalet that faced the parking area as none of the sea facing, or second floor chalets were owned by them. 3. The whole look and feel is that of a deserted hotel 4. The water around the hotel is quite shallow and muddy and during a low tide, you can only see squishy brown mud filled with squirming tadpoles - not a pleasant site 5. There were hardly any hotel help/staff
