Luxury London Two Bedroom Apartment

There Was an extra bathroom, very useful! Nice arrangement and decoration.

Sometimes it took long to get a text response from the host.

The location was close to Crystal Palace which has several restaurants.

I was disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the property. There were visible marks on the walls, hair on the bedsheets, and a noticeable unpleasant odor. Additionally, the sofas were quite uncomfortable and not suitable for sleeping. I had inquired about the possibility of a late checkout and was informed that this could be arranged for a £25 fee due to cleaning requirements. However, considering the condition in which the property was presented, the justification for this charge is questionable.

Great location for Crystal Palace. Was easy to park on street nearby. Some stylish touches.

The flat was BOILING HOT, we can get some pretty hot summers nowadays so a fan in each room should be standard. It was unbearable. We had to leave the windows open which meant it was too noisy to sleep. Also the blinds are fairly useless at blocking light. Bedside lamps not working. Kitchen could do with a microwave. There seemed to be a mild beetle infestation upstairs, they were crawling on us at night!

The apartment is in a great location and is very charming and homely. A bonus was that there was a second bathroom (toilet and basin), which is not pictured on the listing.

There was no fob on the keys. It was explained to us that a previous guest had lost it so we needed to be let in remotely. While we were able to get in when we needed, this did cause a lot of anxiety. Other than that, a few things in the apartment could do with replacing/fixing (the blind in one of the bedrooms, a few dead light bulbs, tired mattresses). If the above 2 things were rectified I would honestly have rated this place 10/10 Thanks for having us!

The layout of the property was fine, nothing spectacular and not luxury but acceptable.

It is far removed from luxury, the beds were very poor and uncomfortably soft with mattresses that dip in the middle, the linen was far removed from luxurious and the noise on the one night we stayed was disturbing. No onsite car parking. The late confirmation of arrival process was not a problem, but it did give rise to discomfort in not knowing how to enter a property before you arrive. Overall it was a bit of a disappointment.
