Easy to check in, clean and comfortable

Great location, within short walk of shops, pubs, and restaurants. Property was comfortable and clean. Owner was very helpful and proactive.

The location was great. It was near town. It was big enough. The shower was good. It was cosy. Heating set at a perfect temperature. There was a washing machine (i didn't use) which is useful. Usual other kitchen appliances; cooker, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle. Plus tv, sofa and small dining table. Good sized wardrobe in bedroom. Car park right outside.

The view was a bit bleak just a big red shed. The windows had curtains in the bedroom and a blind in the kitchen. Not knowing how much of a cut through the property was i kept the bedroom curtains closed and the kitchen blind half closed. Shutters would allow privacy but natural light in. The sofa was wipe down leather type material. This makes cleaning easier. It was black, which made sense but was a bit boy student style. Once the lamps were on in the lounge area the place felt more homely. However with a rearrangement of the furniture, more cheerful wall paint colour or feature wallpaper, different art and nicer sofa i think the room would have an oooh factor. I slso felt the bed would be better on the far wall rather than across the centre of the room. This is all just my opinion. It was a great base at the beginning and end of each day. Seeing cousins and walking with Dad, whose ashes are scattered up there, was the main event. I have no hesitation in staying at the property again and have no hesitation in recommending it. It was completely fine.

The apartment was clean and tidy. It had everything we needed. It was very handy for shopping and eating out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. We would also recommend this apartment to friends and family. Our hosts were easy to contact so would give them top marks.

It would nice to have a net curtain in the bedroom so you could leave the curtains open However it wasn't a big issue, just a suggestion
