If you are not a high maintenance person and not looking for an apartment with the crystal chandelier you will enjoy staying in the Annex. It is a comfortable, small, clean and cozy place with the well-equipped kitchen (I staid there for two weeks and cooked most of my dinners). Yes, there is no sink in the kitchen, but it did not bother me because the sink in the bathroom is right next to the kitchen. The bed is comfortable. The Internet connection is perfect. The location is good, especially for the summer: 4 min away from the beach. If you are interested to hang out in the city center (shopping, restaurants, etc.), it would be 15 min by walk. I like Eastbourne very much!

If you wish to have a nice view from the window, you should book another place. I spent lots of my time outside the Annex, so I did not care about the view. It was a little bit hard to find, but the taxi driver helped me.

The bed was too low & very uncomfortable. I got stuck on the bed & had to call for help to get up. I never slept Monday night as it was so bad.Went to the local Travellodge for the rest of the week. There was no comfortable chairs to sit on in the evening to watch TV. I have bad knees & this place was totally hopeless.I knew it was basic cause of the price but lack of comfort is unforgivable.

Bad bed. Bed too low, bed kept collapsing, very uncomfortable bed. A large size bathroom converted to half kitchen and half bathroom. No sink in space called kitchen. Not a place fit to stay for a whole week. I didn’t like it and couldn’t wait to leave. There was unpleasant smell inside. It’s a very old Annex one room caravan.

A simple, practical studio. Well equipped kitchenette close to tjhe sea front and a short walk from the pier. Very good value for money. A bit difficult to find, but easy access. Clean rooms.

I can't recommend the bed to people with back issues. If you lie on either side of the middle the matress is very saggy. If you lie in the middle it feels like you are lying on a wooden beam. For a few nights its fine, for our two week stay it was a bit of a pain in the back. But otherwise a pracical, good value for money place to stay.

Close to everything comfortable and clean

Difficult to find and a little chilly in evening no heating as main heating of due to time of year

Great location near the seafront, close to local shops and a pub. Really good wifi. Owners were available over the phone to answer questions when needed (maybe checkin instructions could mention there are 2 buttons to push to get the key :) Desk provided.

Bed probably needs replacing soon. An iron would be a usefull addition to the facilities. As would a postbox / address for post to be sent to.
