The lack of preparation from the concierge and management caused me be relocated to an entire different apartment complex 20 mins away from the location I booked due to the mishandling of keys. My reservations keys “were not left with the concierge” which resulted in 5 different phone calls with different people to sort it out. All the while the concierge of Trace Midtown acting clueless. Very sketchy and possibly “scammy” since my flight got delayed and I wasn’t able to make it to check in until around 9pm. Never offered a discounted price or proper accommodation and definitely didn’t feel like the concierge at the front desk was any help.

"Terrible. Never again. "

Property under construction in lobby. No first floor elevator. Concierge did not provide any instructions on how to access unit. Check-in and accessing unit took over half an hour. Construction woke me up with jack hammering. Impossible to navigate with elevators not available. Random stairway doors lock. Found myself trying to access 6ths floor, ended up having to walk all the way down to first floor. Instructions to checkout are to leave keys in apartment. Keys are used to lock doors and access elevators. Just an all around AWFUL experience.

Nicely decorated 1-bedroom apartment in midtown Atlanta high rise. The building’s lobby was closed and under construction. This made access to the building more difficult. Better communication about the situation would’ve been helpful. Also the property did not provide adequate towels or cleaning products. There was one washcloth, two bath towels, and one mat. Only one sample pack of dishwasher detergent was provided. The location was nice and walkable. Would recommend, but encourage future guests to make sure to check that the unit is better stocked or bring their own towels.

"Worst hotel.com experience for ever!! "

I had the worst experience with Hotels.com, which recommended this global luxury suites property that turned out to be a complete scam. They completely ignored the booking conditions I agreed to with Hotels.com and instead enforced their own rules, which were vastly different. For instance, Hotels.com gave me the option to pay either now or at check-in, and I selected the latter. However, the property demanded my credit card number to charge me 7 days before check-in. After some negotiation, they finally charged my card in full 3 days before check-in and then requested a copy of my credit card, which should have been handled by Hotels.com. When we arrived on the day of check-in, the property claimed there was no room available despite having already charged me. They also insisted that Hotels.com wouldn’t assist us and advised me to dispute the refund directly with the property. This entire experience is completely unacceptable! I strongly urge others to avoid this property and to carefully verify the conditions with Hotels.com before booking.

"Nice building, but expect support from Churchill - Total luxury"

I wanted to wait a week before writing this review to ensure my emotions did not overly influence my thoughts. This is my second time staying at this particular property managed by Churchill, and I was very disappointed. Physically, the property is nice. They benefit from a relatively new building and all that comes with that. However, on this particular trip, I was bringing my wife, and we were in town to help prepare for a funeral, and we had to go in separate directions at times in advance. While creating the reservation, I asked specifically if I could have two sets of keys. Now? They said yes in a written response. The issue is the apartment door to the unit is 100% key fob. There is no physical keyhole. So, to lock the door once you leave the unit, you need the key fob. You need the key fob to operate the elevator. You need the key fob to get into the main lobby of the building. So, if one person leaves with the key fob, the other person is essentially a prisoner in the apartment. The second person can't leave the apartment and lock the door behind them with their personal items in there. Once out on the street, the second cannot return to the building lobby. I called immediately upon receiving the keys at check-in and asked them, "Hey, can you deliver the second set of keys as agreed?" I reached out four or five times. At one point, there was no response on Thursday until 8 pm. I got a call from someone who sounded annoyed that I had written multiple texts, and they gave me a canned answer, "Well, we will reach out to the respective parties, and the resolution will be sent to your front desk." The front desk has nothing to do with Churchill and global luxury suites, and they explained that to me. At that point, Global Luxury Suites stopped responding to my text messages. Instead of just calling me or letting me know, hey, we can't do it, they just let it drag out until I had to check out. And that was that, so beware.

"Horrible sewage and cigarrete smell"

Apartment had a horrible smell of sewage and cigarretes. Not even opening the balcony door helped. Sincerely one of the worst experiences I have ever had booking a place. I`ve complained about the smell with the management and they were not able to allocate me in another room. I absolutely DO NOT reccomend this place.
