Location and price.

Great location for exploring the city, super nice and helpful host! Matko met us upon our arrival, and carried our heavy luggage up the stairs. The apartment is super cute, tastefully renovated medieval gem with an amazing view over the promenade. Matko provided wine, water and juice upon our arrival. Matko even volunteered to carry our heavy luggage to the ferry terminal when we left! The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot or hiking up the Marjan. Would definitely stay there again!

- great localisation, few meters away from city centre - unproblematic host: very nice and friendly

- even though we listen to the host and do exact what he ask for there weren’t enough hot water for two people taking shower after each other (we need to wait about 15 minutes) - bed is quite old and you can feel it 😅

Firstly our host was great, a real gentleman. He carried our luggage and greeted us with a welcome pack of wine, beer and chocolate. The location is first class! The apartment is beautifully restored in a histrionical building. Two great bedrooms were perfect for our family of four. If you are looking for a place to lie around and watch TV, this is not your place. If you want a place that is incredibly close to the harbour and palace and has a village like feel with bars and restaurants (quality) on your doorstep then I can highly recommend. We had the top floor two bedroom with water and palace views,the last flight of stairs are steep( no problem for use , but might be a concern for some people)

The host Matko messaged me on whatsapp before arrival to arrange meeting near the apartment and check invto make sure we could find it. It was clean, had everything you could need. The location was perfect. AC, washing machine, cooking area, good shower. Super convenient for bus, ferry, old town, scenery, walks, everything!

Everything was great, there is no natural light and we kept the window shut because it was on the ground floor, but this did not matter to us when we could go <20 metres to the stunning sea front.

Good location in the old city, plenty of the restaurants and shops as well as beach in 20 minutes walk. There was provided wine, water and soft drinks by the hosts which was very nice. There were plenty of towels, which was more than enough for 10 days. The apartment owners were very nice and friendly.

Very small apartment, probably due to the reason that the building is old, the apartment smelled damp.

Matko, our host, met us to hand over keys and go over the flat. He is an amazing host going above and beyond to help out and make your stay the best possible. Our flight was getting in early in the AM and we had asked about checking in early. There was another guest in the flat the night before but he got it cleaned super fast and even helped us store our bags while we waited. The location is super...close to everything. The Fife restaurant that is literally on the same street was our go to breakfast spot. Inexpensive and good food. We appreciated the bedrooms having AC....I hadn't even thought about looking for AC when I booked but it turned out to be much needed during our July stay. We also appreciated and used the washing machine...this was something that I did look for when booking. Some reviews will call out the kitchen and bathroom being small. They are but they are functional and worked for your 5 night stay. If you were staying for a long period of time and wanted to do more cooking the small refrigerator would be a pain or if you are someone who spends hours in the bathroom this may not live up to your standard. But for our family of 4 staying 5 nights and having a base in the main part of town so we could come back and take breaks, it was perfect. Thank you Matko for a wonderful stay!!
