The stay was disappointing and did not match the listing's description. The check-in process was difficult as we were not provided with the entry code. Our booked "Double Bed Room with private bathroom" was inaccurate; the bathroom was a shared facility and in our room there was a Construction Site. As a pregnant guest, this was especially inconvenient and uncomfortable due to a frequent need for the toilet. The room itself was all in all in a good condition but had an unbearable smell of cat urine, which was made worse by a sealed window. Upon arrival, we were also greeted by an unsupervised and unleashed German Shepherd puppy who jumped up on us. While the dog was cute, this was a dangerous situation given my condition. Finally, the most significant issue was the noise. We were unable to sleep as other guests partied through the night in the common living area. We had to ask them to stop, but they started again an hour later. The person responsible for the property was unhelpful and seemed more concerned about his own comfort than ours, offering only a brief apology after he acceptet the Noise until 4 am without telling them off and then finally kicked them out. While this was a cheap stay, the core promise of a soundproofed room and a private bathroom was not delivered, and the lack of basic cleanliness and comfort made for a very frustrating experience. I am very disappointed and cannot recommend this listing.

Shower only worked properly once during my trip. Cat came in through bedroom and bathroom windows. Had to pay for parking in yard.

I would never attempt to use this place again they cancelled our reservation at the very last minute just a couple of hours before we were due to check in using a lame excuse that the room had been trashed by their previous guests. It has taken us weeks to get our refund.

Ne vous fiez surtout pas aux commentaires "excellent". Ce sont les quelques clients qui ont eu la chance d'avoir la chambre prise en photo sur Booking. C'est celle qu'on avait réservée également. Malheureusement, comme plusieurs autres clients nous avons eu la déconvenue de découvrir notre véritable petite chambre : lit 2 personnes étroit, draps qui ne sentent pas du tout la lessive, odeur de cigarette dans la chambre non fumeur, pas de lavabo mais un unique petit lave main dans la chambre, douche sale remplie de calcaire et de moisi. Le propriétaire nous répond que la chambre qu'on avait réservée a été donnée à des clients qui restaient 5 jours. Nous on ne restait qu'une seule nuit. Le seul geste commercial fait a été de ne pas payer la place de parking de 5£ pour la nuit. Pour précision, ce n'est pas du tout un parking mais juste un droit de rester dans la cour de sa maison. Payer 94€ pour une telle chambre c'est une honte !!! Même à Paris, j'aurais pu trouver mieux. Une précision supplémentaire, c'est un logement excentré de Belfast. Il faut 15-20 minutes en voiture pour s'y rendre. Les 94€ sont d'autant moins justifiables même si la chambre et les draps avaient été propres ! Cette location dans l'état actuel ne mérite pas de rester sur le site d'hébergement. Le propriétaire n'est pas très correct ni honnête dans sa manière de faire. Il rejette la faute sur Booking qui est compliqué à gérer. Do NOT trust the "Excellent" ratings that you see on Booking.com. We had booked that room, but like several other people before us, we had the misfortune of staying in a very different room: narrow 2-person bed, bed linen that did not smell of detergent, cigarette smell in a non-smoking room, no proper sink but a small hand basin in the bedroom itself, mouldy shower covered in limescale...

Absolutely everything. After a day of working and knowing nothing of the area (I’m from England) I had the best nights sleep and the friendliest host I’ve come across… despite me turning up with a rough appearance and looking like a weary old navvie I was treated like royalty from the second I crossed the threshold

I had to leave… my stay was too short!

The location is great. Short drive into Lisburn.
