Riverbend Apartments by Lowkl

Reasonably good location and fairly clean. Did not like the service as it’s all on line. When I did get through to complain about lack of parking, the person I spoke to questioned how I knew the cars were not registered with Lowkl! Could not be bothered to investigate as it was obvious workers at the nearby restaurant and its guests were parking there.

Very good location, good value, and had most of the necessities for our stay.

There was no charcoal for the grill in the unit and the main grill wouldn’t start.

I liked tge cleanliness of the place and the TV.

The room were clean. LOVED the shower and the hot water felt amazing! The couchbed could've been more comfy but i only needed to sleep over night. I would stay there again.

10/10!!! Room was clean, host was super responsive with questions we had prior to checking in. The courtyard is so cute, and the area around the property is part of old Fort Lauderdale which is gorgeous! 5 minute walk to a 7/11, and less than that to rentable e-bikes which makes getting around downtown a breeze. Only comments would be that the shower runs a little on the cold side, which is not a big issue when you’re in FL. The unit comes stocked with toilet paper (we had like 5 rolls which was awesome) and towels, paper towel, trash bags, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

On the listing page, it asks for any special accommodations to be requested at time of booking. This is a two-story place, without elevator. - The moment I placed the booking, (a few months before my stay) I reached out and requested a ground floor unit, for mobility reasons. The request was denied, saying their computer system chooses the room, and they have no control over which room you'll be assigned. Sounds like they posted something on their site that they knew was incorrect. I wonder if the Americans With Disability Act has been violated? Aside from the inability to obtain a ground floor unit - (I did stay there, on the second floor).. - The rear entry gate only opens about 70 degrees - which is no biggie for a human to pass through, but when you add a handful of luggage, groceries, etc, it's a tight fit. The front gate opens easily to 90 degrees. - Once you've entered the coded locking gate, the outside area is nice. The courtyard is in the shade for most of the day, and if it's too sunny, there is a large table area covered with canopy. - The unit was clean, and the grounds were clean. During the day, cleaning staff was present, doing what they should be doing - inside and outside the units - that's the most important part of any stay. - If you're a young adult, there's multiple bars and restaurants easily within walking distance. - Despite these open-air bars being a couple blocks away, I never heard them while staying there.

Nice quaint place right by the river and downtown convenient to everything. Rooms are new and Clean with an easy check in process. The courtyard is nice, but a bit noisy from local construction. Parking is a bit of a challenge as there are limited spots available. The biggest challenge we felt was the horribly cheap“mattress” which was just a piece of foam not an actual mattress. It was very uncomfortable and completely caves in when you lay on it. We left a day night early because we couldn’t take another night sleeping in the bed.
