Nine The Boathouse

Location is fantastic and it is a very comfortable and relaxing apartment. Laura provided very helpful local information.

Really good location overlooking the river. We really enjoyed being able to watch the wildlife out of the window. The accommodation itself has been very thoughtfully decorated and set out and it was an excellent place to stay.

Lovely terrace on the riverside, to relax and watch avocets and oystercatchers. Quiet. Very comfortable bed. Efficient heating. Well equipped with plates, mugs, glasses. The sofa was comfortable. An easy (if steep) walk into town.

The apartment was difficult to find with a rough approach road and the parking bay numbers worn away. The apartment was in need of a thorough clean, including the sealant in the shower. There was only one tiny kitchen cloth, no washing up brush, no safety anti-slip shower mat. It would be helpful to provide instructions on how to load the dishwasher. And a folding stool to help short people reach the kitchen shelves!

Apartment clean and tidy, bottle of wine on arrival very nice touch. Great communication from Laura before and during the stay. Potential issue with noise from workmen next door never materialised but was good to know in advance that it might occur.

I absolutely adored the Nine Boathouse. I celebrated my 40s bday here and I would do it all over again. The views in the morning are lovely and you can observe many different birds around the river. The house has absolutely everything you need. The bed is super comfortable and the bathroom was really lovely. The host is amazingly responsive and kind. I am looking forward to coming back and staying at the Boathouse. Rye is quick and easy to access. I absolutely adored this place.

Lovely view, quiet, and an excellent location with its own parking space. It's a good sized, comfortable apartment for 2 people for a short break. An easy walk into the centre of Rye

The view of the tidal river was a joy!! Infinitely relaxing!! Excellent hot water supply and a good shower.

The apartment was VERY HOT…and although we tried everything, we could only cool it down by opening the front door and bedroom windows to create a “through draft”.
