"A peaceful getaway that offers great views."

Tranquil and secluded cottage! It was perfect to get out of the city and spend some time with an amazing view. There is a mountain view at the back of the cottage and a dam and sea view at the front. Excellent!

I wish we stayed longer!

This is a very large, well appointed cottage, with the most beautiful views of the sea and the surrounding farm and fynbos.

"Nice place to just up your feet and take a breather."

Very friendly and welcoming reception on arrival by the owners. The apartment was absolutely stunning. It had everything we needed and more. It was clean and was very surprised on how spacious it is.

The road to the farm not great, just take it slow, very rutted. There was no plug at the bed in the main bedroom which was not great.

Finishes are tops and property is clean and well equiped. Luxurious stay and secure.

Could not locate the plug point for the electric blanket. Main bedroom bedside lamps not as nice as the 2nd bedroom's.

Extremely peaceful home with a gorgeous view and large yard. Very family friendly! the bungalow was quiet and secluded with a wide/large porch area that wrapped around the house and beautiful ocean views. Really enjoy the opportunity to rest and be creative with my kids. So many animals on the farm they absolutely loved it! Beautiful nursery and gorgeous mountains and sunsets. Lovely indoor fireplace and it was so nice to braai with a view of the sea and the small pond in front of the property. Will definitely come back!

Groeneweide is a little piece of paradise in a very special part of the Western Cape. The views in all directions are spectacular. The farm setting is perfect for children who delight in free roaming farm animals. Blombos Cottage offers everything needed for self-catering, is extremely clean & very comfortable. The location is also perfect with so much to see & do in the surrounds. The hosts are warm, welcoming & very helpful - available to chat or see to any needs but in no way intrusive.

Our decision to only stay 4 nights ;)

"A memorable stay"

Beds were comfy and the house was spotless and clean. The hosts were so welcoming and warm. I loved that there was a restaurant on the farm that had great coffee every morning. We'll definitely be back. Thank you Mathilda for a memorable stay.

Wish there was a pool on the property.
