"Lovely, homely trip to the annexe"

Easy access, parking, homely and lovely surrounding area

There was nothing I didn’t like but as the property has no shop in the village, milk in the fridge or UHT milk would have been handy. There wasn’t much tea or coffee available.

"5 years ago it was probably great, but it needs some of the money from their guests used on up keep."

It was quiet

The owners have obviously NEVER tried to sleep on the bed provided…And generally the place is is need of repair/ proper cleaning of for one the shower (the shower heads need cleaning/descaling… the silicone needs replacing around the shower cubical … cleaning of the panels properly … sink tap needs cleaning … Brackets for bedroom curtains are literally hanging off…. Shall we go on?! Oh… On the surface it all looks fine… (we left really early to come home to get some sleep in a comfortable bed)! And before you say we are just moaning… try sleeping in it! Just being honest.

Overall facilities and feeling like home exceeded my expectations

Not a big deal as it was still lovely but bed was a bit firm for our liking and locating the wooden gate as I think the sign is differently worded to the one which is in the message but don't take offence as we had a very nice night

Lovely quiet location and room around the property for the dog. The welcome basket was appreciated too!

As with many properties these days, the TV didn't have terrestrial channels which was a down side for me but this was the only minus.

"Exceptional"

Really nice surprise with the horses in the paddock behind the property. The annex itself was extremely cosy and well decorated and the area was extremely peaceful and clearly an area of natural beauty. Food recommendations given in the help pack were on point as well.

"It was so handy for where we needed to be."

The location for us was fantastic. A 9 minute walk from where our family gathering was. The property was ideal - had everything we needed. Good parking was a bonus. I’ll certainly return & will recommend to friends.

The kitchen cupboards & bathroom mirror were a bit high for a shorty like me (I’m only 5’ nothing)! I struggled a bit with the Smart TV (nearly lost the will to live) but that’s because I’m used to Sky.
