Cudos to the receptionist, she went above and beyond, but she shouldn’t have had to do what she did, especially when she was also helping the residents who live there and other people who had rented rooms. Very secure building with no entry without a key to the electric gates.

We arrived 15 minutes early, hoping our apartment would be ready for us to walk straight in. However, the receptionist at the desk couldn’t find our reservation by name. I showed her my reservation, but without saying anything, she walked away. She returned after calling the owner of the apartment and asked to see the booking confirmation. I gave her my phone, but she then walked away again. She returned and asked me to see the receipt of the booking to see payment. I showed her the email confirming my payment she said okay and walked away again (speaking with the owner of the apartment). By this point, it had been about 45 minutes to an hour, and we were waiting to get ready for a concert that started at 5! The owner called me and said they hadn’t received the booking and the room wasn’t ready. They offered to speak with the receptionist and see if she could do the room for us or find us another room. She said she would call me back, but she never did. The receptionist finally appeared, and by this point, I had started to do my makeup there, as I had less than an hour. We were already going to be late, as we should have left at 4. She offered us an empty flat, which is for residential use but is currently empty, which we accepted for the time being. We ended up getting our room at 5. When we entered, it looked beautiful, but there were no complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, or bottled water. In previous hotels, rented apartments, and Airbnbs, which some were cheaper, I have done. The room was also too hot, and to cool it down, you had to have the large window open, which also opened your curtains at the same time, so it wasn’t very private. There were houses and a main road right outside. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I will not be returning.

Der Lärm vom Straßen -& Bahnverkehr war vorallem nachts/morgens störend, aber wir kamen damit klar in unseren zwei Nächten. Vielleicht trifft das nicht auf alle Zimmer zu.

Amazing facilities and location, so close to the station and shops. The absolute best front of house team (Adina, Vera, Samson and Josh) made our stay just brilliant. The Manager Holly was also very helpful and friendly. Our room was great with a floating bed and kitchenette. Great laundry in the basement too.

Booking.com charge a £83 cleaning charge as part of booking which is ridiculous
