Spacious 3-Bed Home in York Free Parking Sleeps 5

Closeness to all of Yorks attractions. Comfortable and warm.

Lack of towels,only one small hand towel provided in bathroom,fortunately we had taken some with us as we were not sure if they were provided,all other properties we have stayed at on previous trips have provided bath and hand towels.

The booking was cancelled without informing us until we had actually arrived and I contacted the host to find out why the keycode didn't work. We had to book a different hotel. Not a good experience.

Great location, great communication with host

Would be improved if the heating has instructions and if complimentary coffee was available

Felt very homely, spacious and welcoming. Everything was very clean. Nice location, a couple of minutes drive from Monks Cross park and ride.

PIN code we had didn’t work to retrieve key. But host quickly fixed this when we called.

A really good sized house for a family, warm and with comfortable beds.

The house felt a bit unloved and that they hadn’t really gone the extra mile to make it especially welcoming as a holiday let. We accidentally left an item of clothing behind and despite generous promises to post it ( and offers to pay for this), it was never sent and their communication ceased.

Lovely size, clean, individual towels, plenty of facilities (dishwasher tablets clothes cleaning products, cotbed etc) spare bedding, timely responses to messages / available to answer call when needed.

Key code not given until asked, no curtains in lounge areas, shower doesn’t drain well, broken cupboard door & toilet flush, small pleasantries like teabags would have been nice. The host contacted me & asked to leave despite checking and reminding host of late check out, although host was nice enough when reminded and negotiated time to leave.

The outlay of the property is excellent.

The property needs a little TLC and at least another toilet and shower for family use. Beds and bedding needs upgrading. Need to supply more towels
