The lane up to the property heating and hot water bit hit and miss

The cottage was beautiful and well equipped. We were all very comfortable- plenty of room and spotlessly clean .

There wasn’t anything not to like the position is stunning - views of the mourne mountains and the sea. The lane up to the house was bumpy but no issue at all - just take it slow .

The location was very good. Plenty of space for all people. Comfortable accommodation.

The very rough lane up to the property. The very high bath side to climb over to use the shower and slippy under foot when using the shower. Very poor light over the wash handbasen. No grab rail in the shower room for the elderly to use.

Beautifully location for a quiet family break.

The road up to the cottage was a bit of a challenge with potholes, just need to take your time.

The property is beautiful both inside and out. It is furnished beautifully, like a private house with lots of nice pieces. Little touches such as extra blankets, books, board games, fully kitted out kitchen are excellent. Also, so many rooms! We found our group, which included some older kids, had loads of space to spread out. Thank you to the owner whose communication was excellent.

Nothing - it was beautiful, as were the surroundings. The only slight downside is the road leading off the main road to the house. The lane to the property itself is not that bad at all though, it’s the shared road up to the lane is a little tricky so this is out of the owner’s hands. In either case it is grand with a bit of extra care and as others have said, my child found it very exciting;)

Location. The owners were very welcoming. A lot was made of lane up to the house, but we hadn't any issues with the lane. The house was great and spacious for both us and dogs. Great stay!

Everything was great, though I would invest in a garden seat in the garden area to sit on, when playing with our dog. Or just to sit at night. Just a personal thing!

Beautiful location and comfortable, spacious accommodation. Welcome pack was a lovely touch from Lisa when we arrived. Really peaceful surroundings and perfect for a leisurely break in summer. Close to Newcastle and Annalong for access to shops, food, bars etc. Stunning views and great value all round. Fantastic!

Liked everything about this cottage but just a bit of a bumpy lane to access but the directions provided were very accurate. Well worth the trip though and would definitely return again.
