A bit of a long lane but certainly wouldn’t let it put off a return visit.

What a wonderful experience! An ideal property for our family catch up – 6 adults & 2 children. The house was clean and decorated to a high standard, every detail was perfect. Stunning views of the Mournes. Communication with Lisa was excellent; quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend a stay at Holly Tree Cottage. You will not be disappointed.

We had a fabulous stay as a family for a short break after Christmas. The cottage is beautiful - really welcoming and facilities were fantastic. The views are incredible, and it’s extremely peaceful. Hosts were lovely and felt like we could contact them for anything. We didn’t need to though, couldn’t fault it!

The only small thing is the road leading to the cottage from the main road, it needs a fair bit of maintenance but appreciate this isn’t the owners fault

holly tree cottage can only be described as a little piece of heaven on earth.The front of the house has a fabulous view of the sea whilst the back has stunning views of the mountains. Mark and lisa have only been in business from may 24 on arrival you would think they were hosting for years.Beautiful,warm, spotless and well equipped attention to detail was second to none. There was a fabulous welcome basket and the house was tastefully decorated for our arrival on Christmas eve.The log burner in the snug was so homely and there were plenty of wood and sticks.Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom and an extra bonus of a little quiet space which overlooks the sea.We have done a lot of travelling in our time but can honestly sayi have never experienced such wonderful accommodation. There is also a downstairs bedroom with a jack and jill ensuiteThankyou so much Mark and Lisa we will see you again with no hesitation. Dolores Colin Sharon and familys.

Holly Tree Cottage is a stunning house. A real ho me from home. we didn't want to leave 😊 It's very spacious and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. so comfortable & cozy especially when the fire is lit. lisa & Mark are very welcoming hosts. It has amazing mountain views at the back & gorgeous sea view at the front. It's really peaceful there also. Just a short drive to Annalong harbour or into beautiful Newcastle. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. We will definitely be back 😊

Fantastic cottage, close to Newcastle, facilities fabulous and the hosts were so accommodating. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone.

Everything was excellent

Lovely comfortable home in a beautiful quiet location. Owner was very helpful and left us a great welcome basket and very useful extras like milk, butter etc.

Access lane was full of pot holes.

Loved the whole stay. Enjoyed the treats that Lisa left for us. Place was spotless and had everything we needed and more.

Absolutely beautiful house. Perfect for children and families. A short drive from Newcastle Centre. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to return!

The lane up to the house is extremely bumpy and stoney but would not put us off returning!
