Captain Cook Riverside Walk

Location and right on the riverside

just few touches my son who’s 17!and 6foot was in a bunk bed was abit of a squeeze so slept on sofa couple of nights yet on booking form entered age or put adult There was a T-shirt left by previous guest hanging on back of bedroom door

Property was situated in lovely setting at the river side and beneath the Viaduct which is an amazing sight in itself, cottage had everything we needed and wanted for our stay.

Wouldn’t say there was anything I didn’t like about the property.

Stunning location with river, viaduct and steam train.

Nice quiet location, but close enough to walk into whitby

Comfortable stay. Location was good and a nice walk into Whitby. Rather steep hill though from the cottage. In the main the cottage had all we needed.

Could have had a few more cooking utensils.It would have been useful to have a fruit/salad bowl. Fridge is located under the stairs so very easy to knock your head, which we did several times. Maybe swap the fridge and freezer around?

Lovely location

Stains on pillows need replacing. Mattress needs a protector. There was an unpleasant smell from the sink

Location was excellent, couldn’t fault the setting at all

The mattress in the main bedroom has seen better days, could do with being replaced. Couple of minor things, pedal bin in kitchen was broken, toilet seat was also damaged. Toilet was a little dirty

Door code communicated clearly

Bed could have been bigger
