The location was ideal.

It needs a refurb. Rooms and restaurant are a little tired. Pillows are very firm. Coffee supplies in room are poor. Breakfast ingredients were very basic - sliced bread from a bag!

Lovely hotel room. Good location for Woodbridge to see our friends. Lovely breakfast and spa area. We didn't use it this time but had a tour and would definitely visit again.

The steam and sauna were not working!! Could have informed customers about this at the time of booking. Wasn’t great value for money for this reason

The Breakfast Sausages and the wait for scrambled Egg which was not very nice.

Attended a wedding and the location is beautiful. With the grounds and the golf course as the backdrop it is wonderfully situated. The sun shone and everything was perfect. The staff were efficient and friendly for the function which was lovely. Bar staff were helpful but some did look a little scruffy which was a shame. Overall we were all very happy with everything and the wedding meal (breakfast) was really excellent. Served quickly and very hot and delicious, this impressed us as we understand it's not an easy task! We had two rooms. 392 (premier room - Aldeburgh) and a standard family room (209). 392 was lovely with a lovely balcony and view. Superb bathroom and comfortable. A very warm day made for a very warm room so the fan was a helpful addition. 209 not so good. Very clean and comfortable but just a bit tired. Needs refurbishment and freshening up but certainly adequate.

A lot of the hotel needs refurbishment and is just a bit tired and sad. It's rather a shame as the location is stunning. My sister had a standard room (243) and that was rather dismal with the most awful outlook over some roof area but agin the room was clean and basically comfortable. It's obvious this hotel could be absolutely stunning but needs some serious TLC. Breakfast comes under the 'ok' standard. It was pleasant and certainly edible, but just failed to impress. Hot food felt like the cheapest sausages and cheapest bacon and hash browns were overcooked. Fried eggs were swimming in oil and the scrambled eggs were probably a bit over done. It was 'ok'. Yoghurt, fruits, cereals and juices available which was nice. A very nice coffee machine provided delicious drinks which was appreciated. Breakfast done the job but could be better.
