Hotel Casa Poblana

This is a small hotel where you share the yard with the family who owns the place and even if the rooms are simple, you have everything you need. From the terrace you can also see the lagoon. The cleanliness of the place was excellent, the bed comfy. Don’t bother if it doesn’t have a pool; Bacalar lagoon is few steps away and you can chill on the piers for free. We would definitely recommend this place

Great location very near public access to Laguna and easy walk to breakfast places and other great restaurants. Close to the pueblo. I had a view of the laguna from my porch outside my room. I liked the proprietor, and all the pets of the family. Delightful all the way around.

Owner was so friendly and very helpful. Got us in contact with a boat captain to take us on a tour of the Lagoon. Beautiful little place in a great location, only 10 minute walk to all the restaurants in town. Wonderful time!

Hot water in the morning didn’t seem to be happening, but everything else about the stay made up for the minor inconvenience.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Casa Poblana. The owners were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We enjoyed the use of the kitchen and outdoor patio space to eat breakfast on. We loved being in a family-run hotel in such a beautiful place.

Very comfortable rooms with everything you need, clean and decently priced, friendly family-run hotel, in a very good location (you can walk easily everywhere in Bacalar from here). All in all, was perfect for us, thanks!
