La Ferreteria Apartments

al llegar estaban arreglando el suministro de agua, y en el apartamento no había. como no pudieron solucionarlo, nos buscaron otro alojamiento, una habitación de hotel esta habitación era espectacular con todos los servicios, y todavía más cerca del centro.

el apartamento que habíamos elegido en un principio era de difícil acceso, y sin luz en las escaleras. como ya he comentado, no tenía agua y al final nos dieron un alojamiento alternativo

Pros: The location is walking distance to Old San Juan and the neighborhood is undergoing a transformation with many abandoned buildings. The staff is responsive and quick to communicate. The apartment has air conditioning, a bed, Wi-Fi, a TV, and Netflix.

Cons: although the staff was quick and responsive, they did not follow up on replacing the badly mildew stained shower curtain. The apartment building has visual structural damage definitively a safety concern , including heavy cracks all over. Septic or plumbing pipes sewer smell that is intermittent and there is mildew/mold smell specially by the common areas. The available futon seating is broken, No coffee, no water bottles, no microwave, no blow dryer. Overall, it feels like a bare minimum type of place.

The Puerto de Tierra neighborhood is close enough to walk downtown to viejo San Juan, but far enough away from there that you are not kept up by partying people all night long; Perfect for our particular tastes. The staff was great and the place had everything we needed!

If you are expecting a touristy area, think again. People live and work here, some in conditions that would surprise a tourist. The bodega across the street has beer and snacks, but don’t expect groceries’, really.

The rooms are little small. There were no coffee machine.

Das Personal nicht gerade freundlich arrogant wenn es Probleme gibt im Zimmer Wohnung bis Hilfe kommt braucht man viel Geduld und Zeit und das Problem ist immer noch nicht gelöst bisschen mühsam

The best thing about this place was when I left

There was a generator running most of the day and night. Right outside my door! They new about this but didn't mention it when booking.
