The staff were wonderful, great Onsen with sauna and massage chairs. The dinners were exceptional all being 10 course meal and breakfast had western and Japanese food options. Hotel room was very spacious with a view of the snow mountain, and it was very warm and cozy. We came to ski, the man who helped us at the bottom floor with our ski rental was lovely, we had a great time skiing at this ski in ski out hotel. The runs are mostly green/ red (which is considered blue), there are black runs but for us it was perfect to ski the green and red runs as a family, it’s a big mountain so lots of options. Staff had limited knowledge of English but we still made it work it’s pretty simple with google translation. Apre ski consists of complimentary tea and coffee and beer/sake for purchase at the small food shop inside the hotel, but it’s pretty limited. If you want wine or champagne you will need to bring with you otherwise there is wine/beer/sake option for dinner only for purchase.

Nothing, it was cozy and comfy. If you are into Apre drinks the selection is limited so just know that but we did not mind it.

Great location. Good value for money.

Very old and dated. There's nowhere to get food around here and they won't give you dinner unless you book it 24h in advance. It would have been good if they told you this in advance instead of figuring it out on the day of arrival and having to pay for a very overpriced meal delivery.

Everything about the hotel and staff was great! They were very accommodating and the food was lovely. Perfect location for getting onto the mountain and can get all the way across to the other side just using the lifts. We also rented out snowboarding equipment from the hotel which was very easy and was already in our own locker ready to go on arrival.

Comfortable, wholeheartedly welcoming, family like atmosphere, nice cuisine.
