"Cosy, warm but expensive for what it is."

5.0

Bed was comfy and close to where we wanted to be. The accommodation was lovely and warm on our arrival and parking was easy. We ate at Druids Inn which was excellent and really enjoyed the pub quiz.

Not sure when the property was last stayed in but the bathroom was a little dusty and not freshly cleaned, very noisy group of ladies upstairs. Some touches would make it much nicer, so a little simple welcome tray would be good. The washing up liquid was just soapy water which we didn't need to use but not a great impression. Light didn't work in the shower again didn't use as we were staying one night but just about managed to have a wash in the tiny bathroom sink. It's not terrible at all but could be so much better especially for the price.

"Overpriced. Unwelcoming stay."

4.0

I liked leaving and not returning the most.

It's incredibly overpriced for such a under thought out place to stay. The toilet is shoved under the stairs in the tiniest space possible, complete with a shelf hanging off the wall. The shower is in a corner in the bedroom, behind a curtain, very bizarre. There is no chance any of the cutlery or plates are clean because there is nothing provided to clean them with... We were told there was parking but the space was blocked, by the time that car had moved another one had taken the space provided. The sofas are dirty and really uncomfortable. For the price it's not worth it at all. The location is nice but there's so much nicer for a better price.

Location

It states the entire property is yours which i believe isnt entirely true, the property has been split into an upstairs and downstairs, we had the downstairs, there was a door in the lounge that lead upstairs, you could hear the people upstairs through the door which when there was yappy dogs up there it didnt make the property feel very private. The bedding condition was appauling, there was black spots (looked like mould) on the pillowcases and an abundace of muddy pay prints and hair (dog & human) on the sheets and duvet. I wasnt happy about myself sleeping in the sheets let alone my children! We ended up in the premier inn for the 2 nights. The general clenliness of the property was bad, alot of cobwebs and dirt, peanuts under the sofa which we found when one of the sofas slid back as we sat on it, if a dog or child had of picked it up and had an allergy or got it stuck in their throat it couldnt have been fatal. Lastly the fridge smelt rotton when we opened it to find there was a bottle of coke and thawed out fish fingers in the freezer dripping onto the fridge shelves.
