A proper inn; hospitable, cozy, and characterful. Despite us arriving very late after a long hike, Simone kindly reopened the kitchen to give us a hearty dinner before a comfortable night's rest.

Excellent breakfast and dinner, great old-school pub atmosphere. Simone is an excellent landlady and one of the clientele said that Delphi was the 'best barmaid in Devon' and I'd agree!

I would have preferred my own bathroom but at this price, still very good value and a great place to stay.

Great location. Very friendly and kind staff. The place has its unique charm.

In the morning I discovered a dried bugger under my pillow . Looks tidy but its not clean.
