The Northmore Arms

Very authentic atmosphere, feels like living in the past century :) would definitely recommend to stay here while you go hiking in Dartmoor! Great host and great food at the pub downstairs!

Food, drinks, accommodation and staff were all excellent. The pub was a characterful old building in a beautiful rural setting miles from.any main roads. Simone went above and beyond in making us welcome and our stay enjoyable.

Nothing I could think of. We would have liked to have stayed longer!

it was a lovely unexpected surprise walking in to a proper old pub. Sat and chatted with Simone and all locals that came in were friendly. Food was fab!

Amazing pub. Like going back in time to a slower pace and tradition. Host was amazing. Very interesting well travelled person. Had great conversations. Great home cooked food lovely.

I absolutely loved my stay here. I had a Gleaming time. Simone and her staff were amazing. I look forward to going back. An absolute gem of a find and not many places or owners left like this in the country. Thank you.

Simone was a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. We had a great night watching the Elton John tribute act, and feel that we made some new friends after only being there a matter of hours.. the food and drink is great and the setting is just superb..Thank you for a fantastic stay..
