Hotel was located fairly well Hotel itself was nice and clean

Room was poorly maintained the bed was all ripped carpet was very dirty, woodwork chipped lightbulbs out

Had enough room for 4-5 guest we had a group of 6 though.

Did not have enough towels or toilet paper sinks were clogged had to wait 15 minutes for them to drain also TV did not work but got it fixed a day into the stay.

Location and cleanliness

The staff and the fact that there was null communication between the hotel and the property owner which resulted in our party to not being able to check in in time. We had to wait for 3 hours because of this mistake from the management.

The property itself appeared nice.

I booked the room on the drive over on Booking.com. Didn’t realize it was a privately owned suite. That in and of itself would not prevent us from reserving the room. When we arrived approx 3 hours later, the hotel didn’t have our reservation. I then called booking.com where it took nearly 45 mins for someone to answer the phone. She was nice, so not fault of her - she worked on getting the reservation over. After about 20 mins the hotel said they now had it. We finally get to our room - by this time we were exhausted and just wanted to relax and attempted to turn on the TV. It didn’t work. We investigated and noticed that the power cord to the TV was unplugged. Where it was to be plugged in, we could not get to it with the wall mounted bracket. Our phones needed charged at this point and the alarm clock on the bedside had the option to charge our phones, but it too was not plugged in - nor did it have a power cord to plug in. We went down to the front desk and told them and they said because it was a privately owned room they could not send up maintenance. Noted. We will not be staying at privately owned property through booking. Likely will never use booking again. We decided to go have dinner. Afterwords we just wanted to rest and start the next day fresh. When we woke up at 5am. We both decided we did not want to stay in that room and left the premises by 6am. So only stayed there 12 hours.

There wasn’t enough beds in the room for 6 people as it says. And it is hard to contact them.
