Verdure Lotus Classic Cruise on Lan Ha Bay

+ Verdure Lotus Classic Cruise offers the perfect blend of comfort, activities, and service. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made sure everything ran like clockwork. Mr. Johnathan was especially helpful with coordinating details before and during the cruise. + We appreciated the flexibility to join or skip activities, and loved how peaceful the whole trip felt. Everything from the food to the excursions was thoughtfully planned. We will definitely recommend this cruise.

The tour was simply amazing! It was very well organized, and Johnathan was very responsive and friendly upon inquiries. I would recommend everyone to book at least two nights to fully experience the bay and to benefit from some amazing day trips. The food was delicious, and there are a lot of vegetarian options (they also specifically cater to your needs if you have any dietary restrictions). The rooms were very spacious and well maintained.

the younger staff is very friendly.

1. Ship is old and not maintained well, the fridge and light in my room are broken. 2. Most of the staff (older one) seems impatient and not take seriously with their job (wearing dirty uniforms, scrolling phone beside the reception, etc) 3. Events isn't satisfying, the bamboo boats start very early during low tide so there are nothing to see, and the fishing at night is a joke, there are no staff there to interact (all busy scrolling their phone). 4. I booked connect rooms, but they failed to provide it. Not recommend.

The long wait before and after the Cruise condition of room, very tired looking.no choices for dinner just had to eat what they gave me,one dish was cold had to reheat in microwave

We had a really great time on the Verdure Lotus Classic Cruise. Great staff and service.

We were in contact with the Lotus Verdure representative on Whatsapp even before the commencement of the cruise. He provided basic schedule information and were available to answer any questions. This for us was a big perk, as it was our first time on an overnight cruise in Vietnam. So, my first thank you goes out to Huy Phan, who was instrumental in making us feel at ease even before we boarded and even checking on us regularly during the cruise. When arriving at the departure lounge Phuong took care of all our questions, concerns and payments for the cruise. (Please remember the 3.5% bank fee if paying by card) Thereafter we met our cruise manager Loi and ventured out on the waters of Halong Bay with a smaller tender towards our house on the water for the next couple of days. (Stick with your cruise manager, there are multiple arrivals and departures from the terminal, it’s easy to get on the wrong tender) Upon arrival the crew were waiting for us on the stern and bowing in greeting. This is an older remodeled cruise ship with vintage touches and wooden accents, non of that perspex stuff, which for me adds to its charm. There were so many things to love about this cruise: 1. Loi, the cruise manager, that man is literally everywhere and does all things. From running around and organizing schedules, to taking the odd drink order, handling guest queries, trying to tame unruly children of entitled parents to checking details on a decorated table. This man deserves a raise, an assistant and heaps of respect. 2. To all the staff, thank you for your exceptional service, you made us feel welcome and catered to our every whim. I have to make special mention of Vu Phuong, Ken, the strong and silent bartender lady who pours the best cocktails and the kind squid-fishing young man. Even Ben from a sister cruise providing support as our tour guide, despite not feeling his best on the day. 3. The organization and efficient schedule keeping. 4.
