Blooming Inn Shelburne Falls

The house is peaceful and welcoming with comfortable areas to sit and relax. Parking was plentiful and the location was close to downtown and eateries. The ambiance of our room with a plush bed made it easy to rest. Showers were hot in our private bathroom. We enjoyed hot coffee, tea and raisin bread each morning in a well stocked guest area. We passed some time playing games. We enjoyed talking with our hosts.

It was quaint and homey. Very comfortable and cozy. Room was free from distraction for the most part so I could get work done.

One afternoon, someone was talking on the phone just outside my door, going up and down the stairs, for quite a while.

The room was very cold and the mini split did not ever really heat it up., even though I set it at 73 degrees. The heater in the bathroom also was inadequate for the nights temp. The bed pillows were very stiff. I put my down jacket in a pillow case eventually to sleep. When I went downstairs to wait for the room to warm up, the auto on lights kept turning off while I sat quietly attempting to read the paper. I finally went back upstairs and got under the covers half dressed to try to warm up. It was 7:30 hours before my normal bedtime but I was tired of being cold.
