Blooming Inn Shelburne Falls

Location was perfect

Location was good with walking access to Shelburne Falls downtown.

First off, please note that it seems only one room in this inn has an ensuite bathroom. The others have individual locked bathrooms across the hall. I would advise getting extra clarification when booking here. There was a significant mixup with our reservation. The advertised family suite(which we had booked two months prior) is apparently two separate rooms that share a bathroom in the hallway. Upon our arrival, the larger of these rooms was occupied due to the owner's error. While Richard was responsive and did credit us for one night, the fact he was offsite meant we spent the first hours of our stay trying to figure out where we would stay. Ultimately, an incredibly kind person in another room agreed to share their bathroom with us. Our room was tiny, with locked windows, a very vintage mattress which overall led to quite an uncomfortable frustrating stay.

Comfy and quiet.

Old school B&B style with a modern twist (automated locks and no in house staff). No breakfast but the owners are nice enough to leave jam and english muffins, water, and coffee out for the guests. They also have all clean dinnerware and cutlery that guests can use.

The shower was extremely small. Still thankful for a private bathroom/shower at a place like this though.

Location and quiet were amazing.

The location is wonderful; appreciate the victorian "flair" inside and out.

I was disappointed to not have ANY contact with the management, it felt a bit cold and impersonal, honestly.

Very clean. Spacious and neat. The premises are secure and quests were quiet. I really wanted to go into town but ran out of time. I will absolutely stay here again.
