Great location, noisy but perfect if you’re going to enjoy the nightlife.

We could not store our bags anywhere after checkout. The staff member told us we weren’t permitted to leave them in the building.

Close to city centre

As soon as I sat on the bed the bed slat broke, the mattress had no spring to it and was the most uncomfortable one I have slept on

This was the hardest thing about my stay here. The check in process not smooth at all as the reception is not manned all day, every day. The digital forms were not working well at all. Another passing guest mentioned he had the same problem. I could see a sofa to sit on in reception, locked behind a door. I was stood for over 20 minutes (with a mobility challenge) in desperate to sit down. Stuck unable to get entry. But the room, basic bed. Great kitchenette, FABULOUS SHOWER! Best thing about the place. Good TV. Reliable lift. Really lovely manager - when I met her. She was fabulous!

The checking in process and the non refundable damage waiver or the choice of a refundable one of £25 or £150 that would only be refunded if no damage found 7 days after checking out. This is just not realistic or reasonable as theres no one onsite to agree with arriving guests the state of the room, there is no security I would get my deposit back. This makes me not inclined to stay at Fleet Street again. Sad as even though there is a bustling nightlife, challenging to walk through a girl on my own late at night from work it did disturb my rest as the bed is at the furthest from the window spot and I was on 1st floor so did fear being disturbed by the nightclubs but I wasnt.

Great location

The kitchen was very basic and would benefit from a grill/oven. The apartment was very noisy at night and really hot it only had one window that had to be closed at night because of the noise. You have to pay a waiver fee of £25 which is non refundable incase of any damages. This isn’t mentioned on booking.com until you have paid. The security checks are a little unnecessary and have never had to provide this before on a booking with booking.com. Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay here again.
