We booked 4 nights in a pet friendly gold caravan for the may half term holiday. The location was absolutely beautiful, the caravan was clean and equiped with everything that we needed and the staff was friendly and helpful. The area around Hunters Quay is gorgeous with plenty of things to do if you are a nature enthusiast. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and we plan to return next year :)

"Highly recommend, will definitely be back!"

9.0

The location was perfect! It is less than a 5-minute drive into Dunoon, where you'll find a gorgeous walk along the seafront, a handful of lovely pubs / restaurants and lots of little souvenir / nick-nack shops. We drove 15 minutes to Benmore Botanic Gardens for a day and then 40 minutes to Rubodach where we got the ferry across to the Isle of Bute - I strongly recommend both! The holiday village itself was lovely. We didn't go to the restaurant but sat outside in the beer garden which was very enjoyable in the heat! As well as the restaurant, there were also a fish and chip van and a pizza van, although they were only open on certain days as it was early in the season. There was plenty to do for all ages, including a swimming pool, activity areas (both indoor and outdoor) for kids and entertainment later on for adults, such as quizzes, bingo and karaoke.

I found the bed quite firm, however my wife thought it was fine. The beds seemed comfier in the other rooms which had 2x single beds in. Rather than going out on our last night, we just cooked in the caravan using the oven, however it was a gas one and took ages for the food to cook through.

"Not recommended for families , not value for money"

5.0

Nothing much

They didn't provide the towels, Tissues and no detergents for washing dishes nothing, even the cleaning brush didn't have the rod. Single bed sizes are very small even my 12 year kid didn't fit in....room sizes are so small.the corridor is that much thing that if you are healthy you will stuck in corridor. No basic facilities no iron no hair dryer. I will not recommend for families.no soap and no tray after you wash your dishes and no value for money

Lovely caravan parking next too was great.. lovely open spaces. 5mins from ferry.

No towels in caravan £10 extra for 2x bath, 2x hand??? Extra for swimming yet on website this wasnt stated. Also booked a pet friendly caravan expecting my dogs to be included but NO that was £39 per dog (£78 in total on top of caravsn price 3days!!!) There was nothink extra for my dogs ie bowls, treats, bed? Not sure the justification for £78 cleaning im sure the cleaners wont get this extra... No washing up liquid, tea coffee milk, t-towel sponge... ive never stayed in a self catering caravan and not recieved these basic items... Also Dishwasher plug not clean...
