Newly Renovated Guest Rooms near Transportation

It was decent! The parking was what is expected in Philadelphia be mindful of the signs. Other than that it was good.

Nothing is renovated about this apartment, it is falling into pieces. Paper thin walls, barely cleaned, broken kitchen chairs, so on and so on. They lied about their booking, which showed a single bed and a queen bed in the photo, but only had a double bed, which made it very awkward for two travelers who were not a couple. Instead of finding a solution about the beds, they decided to gaslight us into thinking we made a wrong booking, and after showing proof of our booking.com information, proceeded to say it was a "bug". Of course, they refused to help in any way or to reimburse anything. The whole weekend was a nightmare. Avoid at all costs, do not give them your hard-earned money, they do not deserve it.

temp in basement room was either 'sauna hot' or ok; the register was fully shut, but still to hot, no other ventillstion control. Floor under bed had cups, old clothing, dust... Instructions to enter, were on day of checkin; what if something went wrong? The communications between rental agency & me & Booking, was very poor. Once I could actually talk w the rental agency, people were polite, but all was confirmed over a year ago, yet they kept asking me for al lot of 'proofs',,, I insisted all was done... they rechecked records, & finally agreed... bothersome... i even considered stop using booking.com this form 'property expectations, needs 'needs-improvement', vrs Y/N/exceeds, so "6No" is the closest match

There was a tv in the room

Before we went to PA, I let them know that I was going to arrive at 11:00 am. When I got there they did not not give us accesses to the room until 3:00 pm. The room was so cold the first night, I had to sleep with my clothes on. When I told that to the point of contact, they said that they would provide a blanket the next day. The blanket never arrived. The room did not have a window. There was a stray roach in the room. We had to share a bathroom with the rest of the house's occupants. There was no place to store or hang our clothing. No garbage can in the room. I spilled water on the floor I used a napkin to clean it up and the napkin came up black. Before we left, a day early, we looked under the bed to see if we left anything. We did not, but other guest had. There were cups and socks under there.

I was looking for a reasonably priced place to stay and this accommodation suited my needs perfectly. The room I rented was secure and very clean. the facilities were adequate.

the location was a little bit remote, but very close to a Metro train station and on the local bus route. I had a slight problem gaining entry, but that was mainly down to my not owning a mobile phone.
